And I dont buy lottery tickets- I get enough excitement trading equities.
Only in my case my hold duration is usually longer than 3 months.

I used to make mad cash growing and selling weed. I could get two crops a year and make more than double the salary from my regular job but then some retard in Ottawa thought it would be cool if weed was legal and now people can buy weed for like $70 an ounce and I've gotta do lame shit like sweat a lot to pay my bills.
The danger of holding for more than three months is that a stock may go up 10-15% and then some shit hits the fan and it drops 20%. More often then not, I do not hold a stock for 3 days, let alone 3 months.

I hit the dumpster of a rec league arena this am.

That is tough work and good for you. I recall going out at night with my friend and her dad in high school to go through peoples recycling to get extra cash. $100 every two weeks did help them keep the lights on when her dad was going through layoffs
The law would likely crack down on people selling weed now even harder, since you are cutting into government business.
