This has to restore your faith in peoplekind. I was standing outside one of these Presto machines (see pic below) at a TTC subway station when a complete stranger offered to pay my fare. This is the 3rd time in my life that a complete stranger offered to pay my transit fare, unrequested. How nice is that?
BTW: There was one time when I did ask a complete stranger to pay my fare because I forgot my tokens.
