Anyhow, I've been to taboo once or twice. That was enough. I'll never be back.

Primary problem: Lack of girls. There were 3. So I'm like, must be change-over. I head over to Pigales for two hours. More than 20 girls there. Head back over to Taboo. Same 3.

Secondary problem: Of those three, 2 were in corners talking to guys. I hate to barge into a conversation and say "can I get a dance". The third one was in and out of the back rooms and you would have to run after her if you wanted a dance. So frustrated, I went up to the redhead who had been sitting with a guy for over an hour and asked if she was interested in going for a dance and all I got was an icy "Can't you see I'm with somebody". Okay. Whatever. I left without getting a single dance.

I went back one other time. They were having a 3 for 2 night (3 dances for $40). Same deal. No girls. After sitting there for an hour, I finally caught one and after 6 dances I hand over my $80. To which she got upset and said that was 6 dances, $120. I showed her the promotion and she said "Well, I don't offer that deal.". Figured I'd finish my drink before heading home and another girl came by my table and asked if I wanted to go to the champagne rooms. What the hell eh? So I ask if SHE is honouring the 3 for 2 thing and she said yes, so long as I pay $80 upfront for 6 dances. Stupid me did so and I got 6 air dances.

Needless to say, I won't be back.

Just have the waitress get her for you. Or, if you're impatient have the waitress get her for you but send a drink along with it. Works everytime.

Have been here a few times a few years ago. There were a few young black and white hotties working who seemed to be more interested in hustling for after hours than in dances. Never took them up.

biggest thing there was the promoting of the local porn star that dances there occasionally....she must be part owner or somthing.....

Yeah, the place is a dive. I work in Hull so a bunch of us head over there on Fridays sometimes. Go to Taboo until 7pm for the 2for1 drinks and then head accross the street to Pigales.
The 2for1 deal is the ONLY good thing about this place.

Stopped into a club called Pigale last week and had a good time. Lots of girls of all descriptions. Most were very attractive.

First time poster, long time reader here. Hi all

In my experience, Pigales offers the best lap dances in the area.
Gabrielle, Kimberly, Misty Maxx, Natina, Sophia, Virginia all offer dances that are exteremly enjoyable (if your looking for rules to be bent). I'm sure there are quite a few more too.

Everytime I head over to taboo, I'm disappointed because the bouncer seems to be scanning the rooms every song. Has that changed? I remember years ago I had a great dance from Zoe (an older tall blonde with manmades) I wonder where she's gone?

I've noticed guys here talking about great dances available at le pink. I never seem to have any luck finding gems at places other than pigales. Maybe we can share some knowledge?

No I don't own or work there I just hang out there sometimes a lot of the girls there are my friends. It is still run by this bithch I think her name is diane could be wrong. She thinks she is god. When she isn't around all is good for everyone but when she is there walking around you can tell because of the girls that there is something wrong.

It's funny that someone said they like the girls better from pigales because 6 girls from taboo have went to work on and off at pigales.
I's true that some of the girl arn't pretty but have nice bodies and others are chunky with a cute face. I was there tonight and out of the 10 girls that were there only 3 looked really bad.

When I first came to ottawa I wanted to work at taboo but they had too many rules and I couldn't be bothered so I went to work at playmate. That place is so broke I don't know how they are still in biz.

A few of the girls that work at taboo worked for me but it just didn't work out. So I told them to do the same but get their own from taboo. You have to understand that they would only be ready after 3 of course.

The reason I go there is to hang out with my friends while I wait for calls. I like the music they play and the girls are not as snoby as at pigales. I will never step foot into that place it's a rip off. To pay so much for a drink that is watered down. I'll pass. Oh YES one more thing for the guys that know mel the waitress she is so f*cking hot when she has a little too much to drink she gets on stage and does a duo with another girl. She has the most amazing body I have ever seen.

P.S. FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO THINK I WOULD HAVE PUT THIS THREAD TO ADVERTISE FOR MYSELF. Wrong... If you go to the otherreview board that can't be named check in the ottawa section and you will see I wrote down all strip joints and their locations as well as hotels and motels. But I am not about to start doing it here for my own personal reasons.

And in case anyone is asking no they did't put me up to this they don't even know I wrote it as a matter of fact I don't even think they know about this type of site.

SD is a slight cut above Taboo imho

There's been times at Taboo when there wasn't a girl worth looking at but at SD theres always at least 1 or 2 that catch my eye. I've gone to Taboo at lunch and there wasn't anyone on stage until @12:30. I sat there and maybe 3 girls trickled in and promptly went to the tables of guys they knew. No one there wanted to make $$$ they just wanted to talk to their connections or whatever. I used to like going there but the last 3 or 4 times were a total waste of time. When they re-opened a few years back I had a few good times and some offers of takeout. Now it's just dead, at least at lunchtime which is when I usually go there.

If you want to compare Taboo to somewhere on this side of the bridges I'd compare it to Cabaret Canada. Both are pretty lame except Taboo at least is nicer inside. But the "quality" and qunatity of the girls is similar. SD has consistently nicer and more girls than either of these places. Still SD is a notch below Barbs, Fax & the Mate imho.

I'd gladly volunteer but as I said, my visits are usually during the day. If I lived in town I'd do more visiting at night as I realize most clubs are a lot different then. But ya go with what ya got eh?

I would love to tell you but I have never been. I hate ottawa clubs sc or other because you can't smoke. And when I drink I need to smoke. There is no way I am going to go outside and freeze my cheeks off.

It's funny that you guys said that all the girls that work at pigales are nicer than Taboo, well havn't you noticed some new faces there lately? I know 8 girls that have left taboo and went across and 2 that went to pink. This past week I have seen at least 15 new girls at taboo and they are all young looking. The only 2 that are old is Julia and Yasmine but they have worked there for ever. Yasmine has a really nice body. Julia however I will keep my thoughts to myself. There is one girl that makes a lot of money at taboo and she doesn't do extra it's because her boobs are as big as watermelons. I swear no word of a lie. When she does her 2nd and 3rd dance she has to hold them after she takes her top off. Don't jump the gun on this one she doesn't have the best body in the world. A little chunky but her boobs are what makes guys forget about her weight. She has a cute face aswell.
