I've never been the kind of guy who gets excited for New Years but for once I finally have something to look forward to this New Year.

Should be a great fight.

Hopefully BJ stops partying like a rockstar, trains his ass off, and punishes GSP.

GO HILO BOY!!!!!!!

The UFC won't put their New Years Event on New Years Eve or New Years Day (only the Japanese Fight Organizations do that)....They know it would affect their Pay-Per-View Sales...

It will be around New Years but not on an actual Holiday.... and the event is always held on a Saturday....which might mean the event will be held on December 27 2008 or January 3 2009....

I think it's been changed to end of Jan now.

I'm a big BJ fan, but I'm a bigger GSP fan, and I really wanna see George smash BJ!

BJ will discover that George is a real WW.

I think he knows already.
GSP beat him back in March 2006 by split decision at UFC 58.
From the UFC website:
Georges St. Pierre proved he was all round fighter when he fought former UFC welterweight champion BJ Penn in March of 2006, as both fighters survived a bloody pounding in the first round. St. Pierre went on to narrowly win the next two rounds and on two of the three judges' cards and earn a split decision, 30-27, 29-28, 28-29, in a bout that actually lived up to the pre-fight hype in this USA vs. Canada card.
