It was T-bill's original intention that his message board serve to rally hobbyists to resist what he saw as creeping inflation in the price of sex services in Toronto.
Hence the name "the john co-op". (LOL I thought at first John Coop was T-bill's name.)
As the board evolved, and adapted to changing pressures, this message got diluted somewhat, but it explains both the clients unwilling to settle for the listed price of services, and T-bill's reluctance to compel SP's to pay for listings and for posting schedules.
Ultimately the board IMO was too many different things to too many different people; if it caused T-bill's head to explode it should come as no surprise. GTAC's contradictions reflected those of its owner's personailty, on one hand arrogant belief in his superiority, on the other hand, desperate to seek approval (not going to get into his paranoia LOL).
