over the summer we are going to see lots of good players heaved over the side to make cap room so Cliff or whoever can start to rebuild. Gill is just the first of many.

when he took a chop to the face tonight from Avery, I thought- 'ouch! that hurt, but I bet it doesn't hurt as much as playing for the maple leafs...'

Penguins 7-0 so far. out of the previous 10 teams to start the playoffs 7-0, 8 of them went on to win the Stanley Cup.

Gill adds some needed toughness on the PENS back line...they were pretty wimpy their before bringing him in. I can't imagine the Canadiens will appreciate going from Philadelphia to Pittsburgh if they manage to come back in that series.

He's kind of like Hatcher...neither can skate very well but both bring a nastiness to their game that makes people NOT want to go too hard to the net...so they benefit from the hesitancy...they also play very good positional defense...HOCKEY still isn't all about speed...they just have to watch out for those 5 minute majors!!!

Pittsburgh will certainly need him should Philadelphia advance.

I think Gills better play started when he knocked everyone out of the way when he headed for the leafs exit door on trade day !!

I always liked him because he seems like a classy guy when interviewed, he's a 4th to 6th defencemen and Leaf fans want every defenceman to be a #1.
