OMG, LOL!!! Ok, you won't believe this, but I have watched the "Infinata" episode while tripping more times than I can remember! I loved the Amazing Spider-Man as a kid, and the Infinata episode fooking terrified me when I young! On acid, it's trippy as fuck!!!!!Spider-Man on LSD
The best part was hearing Spidey say "Wow. That was one trip I never wanna go on again" Lol 2:35OMG, LOL!!! Yes!!! There were all sorts of hints at LSD 1960s and early 1970s in cartoons. The best part was hearing Spidey say "Wow. That was one trip I never wanna go on again" Lol 2:35
Is Spider-Man the first Marvel hero to ever go on an acid trip?I've seen it all folks.
That was trippy as fuck even without acid.Yes!!! There were all sorts of hints at LSD 1960s and early 1970s in cartoons.
Did you ever see this one?
I'll say. This Pink Panther episode puts Road Runner and Wylie E. Coyote to shame. That was trippy as fuck even without acid.
You've got to think there were people involved with the production of that cartoon who'd taken LSD -- the some of the visuals, especially in the opening credits, are bang-on the sorts visuals you get on an acid trip. The episode came out in 1968, the same year LSD became illegal in the US, and lots of creatives were certainly experimenting with it before then. That was trippy as fuck even without acid.
Even Cary Grant too! And he apparently dropped acid loads of times!!Even Cary Grant too! Lol![]()
Their lack of subtlety is quite surprising, they didn't even try and hide it. It was a pretty accurate depiction of an acid trip as far as I'm concerned. I'm racking my mind trying to figure out if I watched that episode as a kid because it definitely had some familiarity to it.You've got to think there were people involved with the production of that cartoon who'd taken LSD -- the some of the visuals, especially in the opening credits, are bang-on the sorts visuals you get on an acid trip. I remember the Pink Panther cartoon was on TV late afternoon Saturdays (where I grew up) when I was a young kid in the early 1980s. I always liked the cartoon for its weirdness, but this is actually the episode that stood out for me most. I had no idea about acid at the time, lol.Their lack of subtlety is quite surprising, they didn't even try and hide it. It was a pretty accurate depiction of an acid trip as far as I'm concerned. I definitely recall some cartoons with psychedelic overtones but none as blatant as that ep of the pink panther. It's amazing how well they recreated the tripping experience.I remember the Pink Panther cartoon was on TV late afternoon Saturdays (where I grew up) when I was a young kid in the early 1980s. In retrospect, I even remember some of the Sesame Street stuff being trippy. I remember them singing a song in one segment and visiting a pharmacist and someone says, "Are you one of those pill-pushin' mamas?" lol
