Hard to say who won the debate but Kathleen Wynne sure lost it.

LMFAO why would they when they can govern with ndp suppout for a year or two and then try again.
If you stay in power in this country because of support from someone else, your hold on power is very weak and will result in only the safest/weakest of governments.

"Tracking studies suggested the mega-watt smile of NDP leader Andrea Horwath carried the day — ** people who watched on TV liked her and overlooked her policy inconsistencies."

lol
we're doomed as a nation
You're right.

If we put any one of the three amigos, in a straight up match, mano-to-mano with El-Fordo tomorrow, Ford Nation will clean up. He's not even out of jail yet.

I did not watch the debate. Forget about it. But here is my nasty review anyways.

Kathlyne Whynne - will she stop lying?

Timmy Hudak - does he have a brain, or a heart, or some courage?

Angie - nice smile, big tits, vote for me!

:p

Okay this is what I really thinkg. This debate, pointless.

This is what I really think, and maybe it is completely off base, but this silly exercise probably won't have any bearing on the polling day, as people already made up their minds.

We live in a time of, and in the province that is experiencing serve econimic stress.

That is worthy of an entire book.

The point is, that other places at other times, when people experincing sever stress, the populations may gravitate towards extreme political solutions.

Perhaps that is what we are seeing here. The NDP do not matter, so we only look at the Liberals and Conservatives. The Liberals go to one extreme and their support remains strong. The conservatives declared thruough Hudak their intentions to slash the civil servants, which is a threat basically, a little extreme and his support remains strong.

As we move forwards, I think we will see more poplarization of society.

We can tell even from this forum. Fuck the middle ground. If something is FUBAR, it is your fault. That's the attitude of our province, right here right now.

Is being in the middle a sure way to lose? The NDP is in the middle in this election, and they always lose.

If this polarization, no middle ground in Ontario politics persists, then obviously someone will take advantage of it. Cough cough, the guy in jail.

It's us against them, and if your side is more persvative, then you win.

No middle ground.

:baby: :baby: :baby: three amigos suck together, cool.

I wouldn't be too concerned. That sentence -- which I assume is also the basis for Lovehobby's post -- actually refers to Horwath's performance in the 2011 debate, not last night's debate.

Actually it likely refers to an Ipsos poll on the debate that said that while Tim Hudak "won the debate" it was Andrea Horwath with numbers like 52% improved impression of her and 42% most likable.

If I was Andrea I'd never trade "winning" the so called debate that no one will remember for the popularity boost that she will retain to election.

And while a nice smile and big fucking tits might help her popularity, I believe people sense her authentcity, she comes off as a real person to people.

And she's smarter then Justin Trudeau and more capable and more experienced so its not like she's justing ruding charisma, or the impression of having it unlike Justin.

If this played any part of anyone's thought process for choosing the ruling party in Ontario, why is Nikki Benz setting her bar so low? She should shoot for the Premiers job, especially considering the choice of leaders we have at this time.

The polls are in Ipsos Reid others Horwath clear winner

Do you have a more positive or more negative view of the leader after the debate?

Horwath +39

Hudak +6

Wynne -19

OUCH. That will leave a mark.

Well considering no one has a very lofty view of any of these clowns, I am not sure it makes a difference.

Self flagellation is so 19th century, you should stop it.

When you're in last place the only way to go is up, big whoop. The trick is to stay up.

All leaders screwed the pooch, not one mention of healthcare, something that affects everyone.

Still waiting for you stats on second choice for supporters of all the party. i guess they don't help the NDP.

With bill c36 demonstrating what Conservatives do once they have a majority, hard to imagine anyone on terb still voting for Hudak.

It doesn't matter for Horwath. Big Labour has already gone shopping and they decided to buy the Ontario Liberal party instead. Pity.
