At first I thought me might be able to recover from all this, but its starting to look more and more that his career in Hollywood is probably finished
Low-key hooking is commonplace in Hollywood. The problem is that this guy thought he could get it from anybody whenever and however he wanted (he was successful for a long time - it seems he may have slept with half of Hollywood's top talent in their youthful prime). Clearly a power trip and numbers game for him since he has the means to buy sex easily. He may be toast but there are wannabe actresses and up-and-coming future Hollywood celebs getting reamed doggystyle by other Weinstein types as we speak.
The person that must be the happiest about this is his wife. Her jail sentence is basically over now. Everyone seems to be relying on their facade of plausible deniability regarding Weinstein's behaviour. I for one prefer to believe that most were well aware of what the hell was going on and unlike Clooney and others now merely writing it off now as friends claiming that "Harvey is a dog" and that he didn't know anything is bullshit, and merely looking after one's own public self interest.
Do you think that Paltrow/Pitt episode regarding this was never discussed between Clooney and Pitt, or even between Pitt and Jolie?

Whatever happened then, it didn't carry over to the Weinstein Company. Again Crowe is a soft target, he doesn't have the squeak clean All American image that Matt Damon does.

I had a distinct displeasure of meeting Mr. Crowe one very late night at Park Hyatt. Everything that's being said about him is true. He's a champion asshole, maybe because he's short. Who knows? Having said that, crucifying him over his connections with Weinstein might be going a bit too far. I'm sure he knew, but so did everyone else in those circles.
I wonder if the Canadian entertainment industry has some dark secrets too? It's significantly smaller both in size and the money that could be being thrown around, but who knows really.
