For once you are right, BB. That is why most companies have mental health support as an employee benefit. Better to go sooner than wait until the problems have destroyed one or more lives.

I beg to differ; I can remember once when you thought you were wrong.

sheik,

lol....that sems pretty reasonable, $5 a song.

i don't want to go my my friends with everything becasuse there is stuff i don't want them to know, plus i don't want people to see me as weak. i finally did open up to my parents with alot of it and i think they just don't know what they can do to help. they agreed i should seek some sort of conselling.

Wanting to get help or -guidance you might want to call it is not a sign of weakness. I actually think it's a sign of strength and a desire to maybe change something you are concerned about.
I think we all have areas in ourr lives we could improve and just look at it like that not that it means you have a mental problem.
I say good for you .
I have not gone but I thought about it. For me I could manage my emotions better ,when I get upset a work lets say sometimes my response could mean I engage in self destructive behaviour.

has anyone seen a psychiatrist before for anything. if so, did you find talking to a professional helped sort some stuff out?
No. Why would I. I'm fine. (No, you're not.) Yes I am. (No, you're not.) Go away. (Never.) Never mind. We'll be over there.

There is no user guide for life nor are there Coles Notes so it is always good advice to seek assistance from a good psycologist when things bear down a bit too heavily.
