Has anyone seen the new Adam Sandler movie?

I'm thinking about going to see it. I've been wanting to see it for a while, but I seems like the movies I've wanted to see lately have been crap. Both in the theater and on DVD. Just last week I drove from one end of town to another to get the Blue Ray version of Project X... It was terrible. So If anyone has seen it let me know what you think. I don't usually go by the reviews online because they can be pretty harsh, I enjoy some movies that are poorly rated. But if it's a piece of crap let me know. lol

"Thats My Boy" I saw it. Typical Sandler movie lately. Some funny parts, mostly dumb ass comedy and some parts that'll just make you cringe. Not enough hardy laughs for me to suggest you go. Id say wait til its on demand or DVD or however you watch movies after theater release. Andy Sambergs comedy talents were wasted as a straight man most of the movie but he was funny later on. Some parts of the movie are just weird. And not even funny weird. Save your cash IMHO

i heard it as shitty. not really a fan of his. i saw one movie so i pretty well seen them all. he either plays a buffon that eventually learns his lesson or a grown up with no ambition that eventually learns his lesson.

If the US government can realize that there is too much wheat, an pay farmers to NOT grow wheat, can't they pay Adam Sandler to not make a movie? Just saying'.

My elderly parents saw it for their anniversary and thought it was awful (not surprisingly). My dad walked out and did grocery shopping instead lol. You'd think the "Adam Sandler" part would have tipped them off beforehand.

Lol, thanks guys. I ended up showing up 15 minutes late and decided to go home. Magic Mike comes out tommorow. I was just going to see Sandlers movie because i made a mistake on the release dat for MM. Lol made plans yesterday and realized this morning it was the wrong day.lol, silly me. But i definitley won't go or make any one else come with me. I had dragging people along to movies that i think will be great ,but are really terrible.

If you have ever seen Billy Madison....just stop there. Its Sandlers best As sad as that is it still cracks me up.

I have seen it... It's been a long time though. Ii should probably see it again to refrech my memory. I think i was too young to sit through the movie or pay much attention to it. Lol

I watched Sandler's last movie, Jack and Jill. It was not funny at all, quite sad to sit through actually. When I read that the production budget for that P.O.S. was $80 million I figured he must be running some type of Ponzi scheme in whcih Sandler takes money from producers and funnels it to himself and his friends.

I hate dragging people along to movies that i think will be great ,but are really terrible.

If you both agree the movie is terrible you could turn it into your own version of a Mystery Science Theatre 3000 viewing and start making jokes about how bad it is.

Just watched Jack & Jill the other night it was about as funny as a crutch......a rubber one.

What a freakin lame movie!

I saw him doing a really funny stand up about twenty years ago. Last time he was funny. I got into a fight with my ex because she tried to make me watch "you don't mess with Zohan." or whatever the hell it was. I simply couldn't watch it. Every movie is worse than the previous one. Russell Peters and Howie Mandel come to mind as being in the same league of completely unfunny, obscenely rich comics.

It looks funny but I'll wait for DVD. Not a big Sandler fan. I'm looking forward to Dumb and Dumber 2 next year. We have been starved for lack of good comedies over the past few years.
