I read the post and thought that she was commenting solely and specifically from the perspective that she stated.

It wasn’t a man vs woman thing or a man hating thing or a silly assignment of gender based blame. It was simply a one sided perspective that made sense given the thread subject.

The OP wasn't about women being unfucked by men. I was addressing the actual statement, which was about wives not wanting to have sex with their husbands.

I didn’t interpret anything @Vittoria said as “man hating” at all. And she has a pretty decent rep as definitely not “job hating”. She just made an observation about her experience in relationships and why some of the attraction/ lust can fade. There are hundreds of posts here from guys complaining that their women at some point in the relationship “let themselves go” and they are no longer turned on by them. Same goes for the other side.

I agree it’s very important for both parties to look after themselves in terms of keeping clean and well kept, as well as staying healthy and as fit as possible, and not being gross or rude. I think also some basic consideration of each other goes a long way too in keeping a spark alive. Talking and showing an interest in one another, not staring at your phone when you are dining together, and being interested in the other person’s wants and needs.
