When the province entered stage 3 and the cases were low enough, I started back.
I've been to see one lady I see regularly a couple times and had a trio which was a great way to end four months of isolation.
I`m taking another break until the numbers start to go back down again.

It’s outside my comfort zone to see an sp right now. I‘ve thought about it but at this point I’m still holding out for a vaccine.
Saw a few trusted agency girls privately in the early summer months when they weren't working. It was awesome: they were bored and horny.
But they're back now and working a tonne and thus a no go for this sailor. I don't blame them because they got bills to pay. One of them mentioned her protocol of working a few weeks and then getting tested and taking a week off to await results/symptoms, and then back to work again. I guess to her it made sense but pretty fucking stupid in my opinion.
But I think the agencies & most girls are pretty brazen at this point and will not shut down unless they're absolutely forced to.

Exactly. At my age hardons are not to be wasted and the sudden realisation that tomorrow may never come makes it imperative that we act today, vigorously and with the grim determination. And nothing makes me feel younger than running my fingers down the nude body of a 20 year old, even of the purchased kind.
I'm curious to know, among those of you who aren't hobbying right now, have you been working from home this whole time? Is that why you aren't taking the risk of seeing an SP?
I'm considered "essential" so I've been going to work during this pandemic, so seeing an SP isn't that much riskier than going to work.

I've been going to see my regular(s) once every one or two weeks since the pandemic started in March. However, my regular(s) don't advertise frequently and they only see their regular clients. So it is less traffic in this arrangement. One of my regulars also stops kissing either LFK or DFK since the pandemic started in March. However, sex has been very good so far even without the kissing LOL.
I saw an agency SP last week who walked into my (hotel) room masked up. I told her to continue to wear if she felt more comfortable with it on; she said 'Oh, I don't care about all this stuff', yanked it off, and dove into DFK before even removing her coat. So, not terribly risk-averse.

That is a good point. I have been working from home and staying in or staying at my trailer. So I have been isolated.
But for those who have been out there, is it a matter of already at risk so what’s the difference?
Exactly, it's all about perspective and relative risk.
Going from complete isolation (working from home and even getting grocery delivered) with zero risk to seeing literally anyone outside is a huge risk.
However, as someone who's been going to work this whole time, going grocery shopping, I'm around people all day. Those people are around people all day, they all go grocery shopping, etc. I'm already exposed to risk, so it's not a huge added risk for me to see an SP.
The veterans here will recall SP services back in the "All Safe GFE" days, with literally no fluids exchanged. Compared to GFE nowadays, if you're already DFKing someone, there isn't much of an added risk from a BBBJ to catch an STI.
It would be a good point if it wasn't grossly ignoring the part about how MANY people one can put at risk needlessly. We know people (especially super spreaders) can be positive and show no symptoms, giving the false sense that it is "okay" to be around people without taking precautions.
We all get it, some people are essential workers and can't be 100% safe (for themselves and those that may be exposed to them) but using that as an excuse to expose more people is a bunch of bologna.

So we are at 100 votes exactly and the break down is 54% have been involved in the industry either working or hobbying and 46% have not.
It has stayed pretty consistent this whole vote so far. I really do wonder if this is an accurate-ish representation of the industry outside of TERB.
Part of me thinks not. I think the percentage of those who returned the hobby is greater then 54%. Just based on the ads that are back on LL and here on TERB, the activity on other board and Twitter. But I could be wrong. Who knows.

Keep in mind lots of guys never read the posts in the lounge. They come to terb to read the reviews and nothing more. Only recently I’ve started to read the stuff in the lounge. The covid posts are humorous!! Broke up the boredom when the agencies shut down.
based on the reviews and agency schedules etc have a feeling the % of people still participating in the hobby or seeing sugar babies is higher than the poll shows. Everyone I routinely keep in touch with are seeing the girls.

Ya - that is my thought. I think the number of those involved is a higher percentage
Not just the Public Health concerns that have stopped some males but also the guys that are not going into the office but working from home can't get out of the house as easy.
