hmm...that's a tough one to call. If it is indeed Hogan's final match, one would think that they'll let him go out of top. Having said that, putting Michaels over in this match will really cement his awesome WWE career as indeed the SHOWSTOPPER, THE HEADLINER, THE MAIN EVENTER, THE ICON...personally I would want Michaels to win...I'm not sure how much of the promos they're running are "storylines" and how much of it is really "true" per say, but there has always been questions about Hogan's passion for the industry. Michaels, with all the faults that he has had earlier in his career, is indeed true to his words in the sense that he will do anything to entertain the fans-including breaking his back.

on a side note...anyone else thought that having Vince do the announcement to bring Matt Hardy back was a little over the top? I was kinda hoping he was going to bring Lesnar

Yeah man I thought that Brock was gonna come back last night when Vinnie Mack came out.

HBK should stay a heel. His character is more entertaining that way.

Here's the ending we ALL wanna see at SummerSlam:

ref is knocked out cold
HBK lands the sweet chin music, goes for the cover, but no count (ref is knocked out)
Hogan suddenly kicks out and starts "hulking up"
Hogan goes for the BIG BOOT, but HBK counters with a SECOND SWEET CHIN MUSIC!!
Then, out of nowhere, BRET HART comes out of the crowd and hits HBK from behind with a steel chair
Puts Hogan on top of HBK for the 1-2-3

Hogan wins the match with Bret Hart's help.... AND.....
THE NWO IS BACK !!!!!

leading up to the match we ALL wanna see:

HBK vs BRET "HITMAN" HART!!!!

But that won't happen, cuz Bret can't wrestle anymore

brock? who cares he quit, because he could not handle the pressure of the road travelling. even he can't save Batista from crappy matches, nor save Smackdown!

You never know..... I believe there is a Bret Hart DVD in the works which could coincide with a return. I also remember Bret saying he would be interested in a return to see what they would do with him. I also remember seeing him on Off the Record and I believe he said that he thought he could get back into wrestling shape if he set his sights on it.

I'm not saying its going to happen, but Bret has been on good terms with Vince and he does want access to his achives as well.

With the "new" insurance issues in the WWE (re: Brian Pillman, Owen Hart) it would be hard to bring Bret Hart back. It would be almost impossible or astronomical ($) to insure him after his stroke. Even in a managerial capacity it would be difficult to bring him back. I know someone who works for WWE Canada and she says, (take this with a grain of salt) that every time Austin appears it costs something like $5000 to insure him. The WWE's insurance costs are somewhere in the millions per year. Besides, outside of Canada Bret Hart isn't all that popular. It's Canadian fans who keep that dream alive always harkening back to Montreal's screw-job.

From WWE.COM

Brock Lesnar has decided to withdraw from any involvement with the company. Looks like he got cold feet before even getting started

So, neither can Hogan, but that`s not stopping them.

The hilarious part is back in the mid-90s the WWF was always making fun of WCW for putting old guys in their main events. They`d say how ridiculous it was for somebody like Hogan to be wrestling in his mid 40s. Now Hogan is in his 50s and what does Vince do?

summerslam spoiler!!

here is the new poster for september ppv, and also with Bret Hart just signing with the wwe, look for him to do a screw job on HBK!!! why else would he sign with them. For a DVD contract only!!! Bret has more up his sleeve. just like Matt hardy, he could have gone to TNA and tag with his brother, and had a future with a growing company, after summerslam what are they going to do with a guy like Hardy, Vince dimantle the tag team divisions in both brands, he has killed the cruiserweight division, realeasing talent , and now just recently resigning Jamie Noble from ROH, and useless Spanky. Oh did I mention Kid Cash has been sent to South Wresting Federation for " fine tuning".
