thanks well that brings about another question,
i was planning to open from 11am till 2/3/4am..opinions?
im downtown doing outcalls, so i might as well be open the same times..
Might want to rethink the closing time. Incall agencies tend to wrap things up around 10 or 11. Whether you're in a condo or an apartment, regular traffic in and out at 2 or 3 in the morning is going to attract attention. If you stick with the original plan, make sure you set it up so that clients don't have to knock on the door when they get there, and make doubly sure that you find a place with thick walls ...

As far as where to locate, obviously there are benefits to both uptown and downtown, but you have to think where your clients are coming from. If someone is going to make a trip especially to see a girl, i.e. travel for 30 min or so, then either location works. However, if you're looking for people who find you online, or tipped through a review board like here, or business travellers in a hotel downtown, that's where you have to be, I think. If you stay downtown you likely won't lose any customers, but if you leave you might.

I agree with the guy who warned you about the hours and about the condo owners - you've got to have the right setup, don't forget LE might actually bother you if you're an incall - not likely, but possible, and more so if there's a complaint from a neighbour!

Have you thought about the buildings at Bay/Charles, other buildings downtown? Friends used to be at Yonge/College, Roommates is still there I think?

Look for a building where the clients can buzz you by dialing a number rather than having to talk to concierge for sure...

You really want to take into account that most of the better QQ condos have either a concierge/security or very aware/nosy neighbours.

Once you're discovered, they WILL make it very diificult and you will be moving sooner than you'd like.
Have you thought about purchasing a condo as opposed to renting it?? At least that way you're building up equity. Also, if you are an owner as opposed to a renter, what could the condo board conceivably do about your suspected activities except to send a threatening letter every so often asking you to keep the noise down - lol! :p

A lot of condos and apartments have a restriction against running a business from the units. I think it's enforceable.

What about...

...overhead?

How will the added expense of a high-class condo be reflected in the incall rates?
