I have noticed peoples comments, or accusations, that talk about hijacking a thread......
If there is a thread about a topic and some one posts a comment in that thread about something similar, be it an SP or any one, it is not always a reason to call out a hijacking.
Take this thread for example...

.....................Now I am not trying to pick a fight with anyone....because I am guilty of hijacking also......but if you look at this thread you can see.....we are all guilty of it.....
-fossilx, asks if a site it legit
-Alexxxis, replies with a link to help with the question
-Capital, makes comments made about the Alexxis`s inside view of the site in question followed by a comment about the site.......all good.
-Alexxxis, states why she has a problem with the site in question
THIS IS WHERE WE START TO GO WAY OFF TOPIC
-gmuoo, comments about Alexxis pictures in her posts and other member`s pictures in their posts.......this is the first real hijack...which by the way was not an attack on Alexxxis
-Alexxxis informs people how to fix the picture problem...but does so with a bit of attitude......in response to defending herself......still we are off topic
-Antlerman....well he agrees with comment by Alexxxis.......but does not help to put the thread back on topic.....
-Alexxis comments on Antler`s post........
-JP now talks about Alexxis`s picture and the Carrie Moon......
WHAT HAPPENED TO THE TOPIC OF OTTAWA AT NIGHT?
- Alexxis now goes into a discussion about height
-JP posts all about height...twice.....
So you see the thread above was hijacked by many people........
So before you jump on people for hijacking a thread...think about what you are going to post yourself......it might just help the thread stay on topic.
I again say that I am not picking on any one in particular......so do not go into a flame war on me.....
