Just my opinion..............virtually impossible for a man to catch HIV from a woman.

Troops: Please post some corroborating evidence for this. You are implying that a big portion of what we've been taught (by health-care professionals) is wrong. If you're right, fine. If you're wrong, many people may actually put themselves and others in danger by seeking out and participating in BBFS.

Yup....I would certainly take his word for it .

I doubt there is a lot of risk that people will , en masse , dump the love glove 'cause some guy on Terb said it was ok . Particularly if that guy was someone who appears to post half the time about masterbation .

why would you even post something like that Troops? If it is true post something to back up your post or you really come off as a major ASSHAT!

There has never been a documented case of a MAN contracting HIV from a woman. Only way you're going to get it is if you have a cut on your dick. How often is that? Many hiv infected married women have gone years and years with the husband ever contracting anything form their hiv infected wives. All barbeack of course.

I agree with Troops. Also, you are less likely to contract aids from a dame, unless of course anal sex is involved.

How do you know they were heterosexual? ...................No one knows what anyone is for sure.

I think most people have been brainwashed by the media on this topic.

Explain to me how this is even achievable.............a penis which is an external organ has a urethra which makes it impossible for any fluids to crawl up. Only way guy can get it from a chick is if she had sharp teeth that left an open wound.

unprotected vaginal sex with an hiv+ girl is about a 1 in 3000 to 1 in 9000 chance on catching the virus

evidence can be found at aidsmeds.com, they seem to know what they are talking about there
Very accurate.

Not a chance in hell that all 3 were bi... Did I mention these guys contracted it before they hit 19... The girl who they all did... Apparently got it at about 15-17 if we did the math correctly back then. Sorry but I have watched too many friends die to allow you to post info that it is safe when there is doubt!

JMHO!
Has it occured to you that they could of shared a needle? At that age many were very experimental.

I'm not condoning people to go bareback cos there are many other thing you can EASILY catch other than hiv. But if you've gone bareback.........i'd be more concerned about the other std. I wouldn't even think of hiv.

I think maybe on a one nite of drunken stupor they might have shared a needle for experimental sakes. Also a closet homo will claim that they got it from a chick to prevent any shame and disgrace within the family.

Jenn i don't think you'll EVER know the full story.

. this is simply not the case and the fear and panic that this misinformation causes often outweighs the benefits of the public health organizations in canada and the us that spread this propaganda...
Couldn't have said it better myself.

Jenn..........where in this thread did i ever condone bbfs?

Its quite possible the chick in question might have stuck her finger up their butts with a cut finger. But through intercourse..............impossible for all three boys you knew to catch hiv.

I think you're just making up this story.

not really, for a man to contract aids from a women it would involve sharing needles 99.99% of the time... even when sharing a needle with an hiv+ person, the odds of contracting the virus is quite low, unless there is a noticeable amount of blood left in the syringe, like a few drops...

furthermore, the man is at very little to no risk with unprotected anal sex with an hiv+ woman, the woman is at a much greater risk, same with the homosexuals that are on the 'recieving end'.... blood sucking is also a low risk behaviour unless u have huge gaping wounds in your mouth and you are on the sucking end of the deal... saliva is a very poor transmitter of hiv, the virus dies almost immediately when exposed to it
Pro i've nodded my head to every single one of your posts. Its too bad the general public has been misinformed with the wrong statistics
