It's a combination of ignorance and denial that drives these frightening arguments that it's "not gonna happen to me"...

I totally agree.
Whoever said ignorance is bliss was not refering to being ignorant about the real risks of contracting HIV.
Any man who would have unprotected sex with a HIV positive woman, because he believes the chances of contracting the virus are next to impossible, is in real denial and very stupid, and on a suicide mission. To the guys who think it is almost impossible to contract HIV from having sex with a woman.....If you met a very attractive women with HIV would you really have sex with her without a condom or even with a condom?
BTW-Magic Johnson was diagnosed with HIV when his wife was just a few months pregnant, so obviously they had unprotected sex while he was infected with the virus. Luckily her and the new baby were not found to be HIV positive. Some people may say that that is 'evidence' that contracting HIV is not easy. I just think her and her baby are just damn lucky.
This low risk-almost no risk debate, reminds me of a girlfriend, when I was in university, who calls me in SHOCK and disbelief , and in denial, that she got pregnant(she is lucky she did not get a disease) . I ask her if she used a condom and she said 'no' but she said he 'pulled out' and that they only had sex one time, and 'how can this happen to me'? Easily because....
IT ONLY TAKES ONE TIME!
Sure life is full of RISKS but is not most of life about effective risk management?????
