Angela that is pretty much a No Mans Land. I think that the closest you may find would a couple of "Hav-a-nap" style motels on the 115 or The HoJo in Bowmanville. Not exactly halfway but as I said that area is pretty sparse between Bowmanville and Peterborough

Port Hope straight down Hwy 28 at the 401 is a hotel used by strippers (Exotic Dancers) from Montreal servicing the Oshawa and Peterborough Strip Clubs. I think it's a Comfort Inn.

Along the 401 east of the Ajax/Oshawa border has Holiday Inn Express, Motel 6, Travellodge, Comfort Inn, another Holiday Inn, a Best Western. They are only 45 minutes from Peterborough and have been used by Escorts and Strippers alike.

Is there not any new hotels/motels in North Oshawa, Brooklin to Port Perry?

Trentwinds on Landslowne in Peterborough is right beside Thursdays the strip joint. Though I dont know from personal experience I have heard from several people that it is very friendly...... It is also right near hwy 35/115. Good accessible location.

Ajax/Oshawa border
OMG call out the army someone has stolen Whitby. I am betting it was that big guy with the trench coat I saw walking along the 401 just past Salem Road before Park Road.

Personally I would be glad because it would shorten my trip home and too work each day.

Sorry XMouse2U I could not resist, besides I think Angela is looking for something that is east of Oshawa and south of Peterborough. I am not even sure if Brooklin and Port Perry would qualify, but hey maybe her cleint wouldn't mind a bit of drive

I think there are a few resorts on Rice Lake that might work. Elmhurst? I am sure there are others.

As someone who routinely drives from the GTA to the Kawarthas I am puzzled by anyone not willing to come ALL the way to Oshawa---on a good day its a little over 45 mins...its not like we are talking a marathon road trip or anything.

We don't travel to Peterborough and he doesn't want to come all the way into Oshawa, so we are looking from something halfway. Doesn't look like we are going to find it though.
I made the drive towards Oshawa in an attempt to see Savannah. The one and only problem is that she booked faster then I could get back to Angela. Booked by email/PM from the computer and then called to confirm by phone when in the area. It also doesn't help with the expansion of Oshawa beyond Taunton Road and Harmony Road increasing the travel time either.

Dodger, in the seventies there was separation between Pickering, Ajax, Whitby and Oshawa along the 401 Expressway. Sorry Pickering split, now called South Pickering according to the landscaping near the Highway. What happen a civil war took place because of the Pickering Nuclear Station? Nowadays if you drive on the 401 Expressway from Toronto which also combined into one bigger super parallel parking lot at rush hour all the way to Oshawa. No doubt Pickering, South Pickering, Ajax, Whitby and Oshawa will be called the City of Durham in a couple more years after consuming Bomanville.

Simply remember it's going to be a Sinfully Sweet delight to stay a while in Oshawa to release the tension caused by the traffic or work.

Say Yes to extending Hwy 407 to the 35/115 split.

Motels?

What about Port Perry, that might be a good half way point?
That could be a very comfortable fit for many.

Only problem is the casino could be responsible for shortening
the visit?

There are several motels in the area and I noticed
one garnered top votes near 7A and 12 in the local paper.

There are a couple of cheapo motels on the 115 toward Peterborough on the way from Oshawa... they are probably pretty convenient and discreet
