Do you guys remember a few months ago when a very well known independant MPA advertised in the local paper where she was taking incalls and even gave the room she was in? I think she eventually removed it... but then she openly gave it on her phone message. Now be honest... how many of you went to see her? I went and saw her... and gave her shit for not protecting her own safety as well as her clients. I haven't been back and I won't go back. Most of you know who I'm talking about... so you obviously know how frustrating it is. Who knows... she could still be working out of that same room today.

But think about that for a moment... how stupid could we be as hobbyists? Think about the number of people that could be in that parking lot watching. LE... your employer... private investigaters... suspicious wives and girlfriends... stalkers... pissed off clients she refused to see in the past... and yes even maybe some curious Terbites.

This is not the specific situation that I was referring to when I started this thread... that will come later. But this scenario should give some of us a wake up call on how stupid we can be when it comes to sex.

[Any sort of LE raid the first thing they confiscate is always COMPUTERS..

Now I am not an expert...but if they get an SPs computer,so what?

OK..they go to the effort (which I doubt they will-they are very busy people) to follow the email or PM backwards...get the ISP information..are able to track that back to an actual internet connection and thus my PC (assuming they call legally do all of the above with search warrants, etc)

Now they have me right? I sent emails/PMs that were possibly setting up a paid for sexual encounter....or were they fantasies?...and was it me that sent them or someone else using my computer? Is it illegal to arrange a paid for sexual encounter over an email (I honestly don't know-not exactly public soliticitation is it?)

Can't say that this possibility keeps me up at night-a raid, sure...bumping into somone I know at a SPs apartment building and not having a good explanation for why I am there-OK...an SP or MPA finding out who I really am and for some reason getting into my personal life-a little bit (they get in mine-then of course they are also exposing themselves at same time)...but LE getting an SPs computer and doing a "CSI routine" on it...seems far fetched to me....[/QUOTE]

Should anything bad happen to one of the SP's, God forbid, LE will obtain Terb records by search warrent, and they will come to see you if they decide you are a person of interest.

Another issue is your car. I always park away from an incall location and walk. Anyone with your plate number can go to an MTO kiosk, pay their $20, and obtain your used vehicle info kit, with name, etc. Any LE on an incall stakeout would also run your plates.

Pay Phones. Fake Name. Different look. Different Email. Different person.
Did that for 20+ years with no problems until recently. If you're a hobbyist that sees different women all the time... your method is pretty much foolproof. The problem starts when you see a number of SP's on a regular basis. Pretty tough to have a different look when you're naked.

Interesting thread...
I myself am a very private person, thus the reasons for my low post rate and lack of reviews. I'm very sorry to hear that you have run into a problem Cal.

I use my first name, and my cell when asked. Handles, and emails i can replace at a moments notice so i use those as well. I however am graced with a bit of luck, namely most of you.
I don't do SC or MP. Nor do i search newspapers and look for the newest lady's. I lurk on a few boards -mostly this one- and i have been fortunate enough to be able to trust the reviews of my fellow Terbites and hobbists. On your words and reviews i have limited myself, so far, to wonderful, gifted and beautiful professionals, and i've never had a worry.

I will keep you words in mind, whether i use them or not, ever have a problem or not, only time will tell.

So Calloway, are you going to give us some specifics? Paranoia is slowly decending over the KW Hobby Scene!
That's never been my intention and I've been very clear about that from the start. If I was that paranoid... I wouldn't have seen Mel tonight from I-N. I am only trying to make one very specific point... every hobbyist should just simply review their procedures for keeping their privacy. This has nothing to do with LE... any impending bust or search warrants coming to get your computer. It also has nothing to do with KW Playmates or any of the more professional independent SP's in KW. It has everything to do with independent SP's in our area that have not kept our privacy to the extent they should. Privacy from their families... privacy from their boyfriends... privacy from their lovers... and privacy from other Terbites.

Ahhh the info is now starting to trickle down.
I hear you loud and clear Calloway. There are too many instances where the ladies I had seen in the past, kept talking about other clients. What they do, what kind of car they drive, how they look. It's kind of scary. And no I never asked. Why would I want to know what some other guy who just fucked her looks like? The answer, I don't. I think some of these girls want to fill the void of silence with any conversation and make the mistake of being too personal with some stuff.

I don't hobby anymore because I love my girlfriend. BUT. The itch is strong to come back to the hobby, the biggest thing keeping me from seeing sp's is my love for my girl, the second biggest reason is privacy. I would lose the love of my life if she ever found out that I was fucking some pay-pussy.
That's just how it is. Either you can handle it or you can't. I can't so I don't hobby.

Ruck... thank you. This is exactly my point. Don't kid yourselves gentlemen... some of these ladies openly talk about you guys. To their clients... to their girlfriends... and to other Terbites. It is stunning how much information is provided. If you've got your fake storylines made up and keep consistent... there should be nothing to probably worry about. If you've been dumb enough to share personal information such as your real name... family... home phone number... employer or vehicle make... then you've been just plain stupid. In my situation it's not the LE... it's an ex-client.

Review your practices... review your booking techniques from the booking stage to the departure from the parking lot. Just be smart guys and stay with the reputable ladies and agencies in town.

About Privacy

After being in the "biz" for a number of years I always thought that everything would always be kept private and the relationship that one would have with a client or lady would remain a secret, kinda the old saying of never kissing and telling. Im disturbed to see that others are not respecting the privacy of ones life out side of this "hobby" as some would call it. Some times people clash or begin to come across hard times between each other but is that reason enough to creat problums in ones life? Not in my opinion. Over the years there has been quite a few clients that were not nice to me however I have never taken my "revenge", just kinda moved on and looked at it as a stepping stone and something to learn from and kept going in my life. The key point to all of this is that this "hobby" should be "fun" so lets try and keep it that way. Alot of ladys in this line of work do not live the "lifestyle" that their work protrays and alot of men have a completly different life at home aswell, so why stir up s*** when its not needed. I know Callaway and he is a VERY nice man so its kind of upsetting to see that he is having a issue with someone but I hope that it comes to a end soon, if it hasnt already. Bottom line is we should treat others the way we would like to be treated and respect their need for privacy. I guess wanted to get my two cents in , take care everyone.

Great thread Calloway; hits home with me. I have been very lucky and very stupid in my hobbying life. I am married and have escorted SPs and dancers in my vehicle to public affairs close to my own town. Fortunately never being caught, until recently someone I have known and trusted for four years violated my privacy.

Be aware guys!

Okay... it's time to end this thread and get back to having some fun again. We have fabulous ladies in the KW Region and let's go out and enjoy their first class hospitality. It was never my intent to cause worries... paranoia or fear. However... it was my intention to highlight the need for some more common sense in the hobby... both for the SP's and for the clients. While my situation was very specific... I honestly believe that it could have happened to many of you. Even with all the precautions I normally take to protect my privacy... I did leave myself open.

To add a little humour back into the fold... how about a "Top 10 or Top 20" of the dumbest things hobbyists and ladies in the industry could do? I think this could be fun... and I'll offer my initial findings
  • #10 - Bring her to this year's company Christmas Party to meet the boss... he may already know her
  • #09 - Park the company car by her front door because you're too lazy to walk
  • #08 - Stop her and her boyfriend at the local mall and ask if she's working tonight
  • #07 - Book your appointment from work so her boyfriend can see where the call is coming from
  • #06 - Leave articles of clothing on the floor at her incall location with your company logo showing
  • #05 - Write down the wrong room number and meet all of the neighbours in her building
  • #04 - Advertise the incall location in the paper... along with the exact room number
  • #03 - Give out your home or business telephone number
  • #02 - Give out your real name... along with your real surname
And the #1 dumbest thing any hobbyist or SP could do...
Give someone... or let someone find out your Terb password without you realizing it.

Yikes! Guess I've been an idiot then,'cause I'm guilty of violating two of the above out of trust.

A new angle...

I was away last week so I missed most of this thread. One thing I would like to add to this is the fact that...

I was told by more than one SP in this town that people (clients - probably Terbites) were asking them to describe me, whether I was old and fat, black or white...

I am not sure what the motivation is for these fellows, maybe just curiosity ?

Another note of concern is of stolen computers from SP's and "free" computers given to SP's. We all know the implication of stolen computers but free computers can also be a "mirrored" computer ! Don't ask me who these SP's are because if you deserved to know, they would have told you themselves already.

So far, I have confidence in most of the SP locally but I have been in the "Hobby" business for 15 years and needed more than "luck" to survive to this date.

I have not played this close to home until the last 3 years and now I am taking steps to control the urge to continue to do so.:)

I ran into this at a now retired SP's place. She mentioned that (Terb handle given) had been asking what I, and others, were like. Some of you, possibly including myself, have real personalities and I think that there is a good chance that if we met under other circumstances, we might become good friends. There is a natural tendency to be curious about the other guys that preceded us. The SPs we see are in the unique position of knowing many of us and we entrust them with little bits of personal info, which in theory, might be abused. I admit to being curious about what some of you guys are like... not for any sordid reason, but because it's nice to confirm that I am better looking, a better lover and more hung than you guys ;)

It would be unusual for me to reveal anything to an SP until I have seen her several times, and even then what I reveal is very general. As Calloway pointed out, it might not be the girl that causes the problem for you, but perhaps a b/f (Remember the thread here a while ago?)

This was an interesting thread. I have been through Calloway's list and I am happy to say that (I think) I am in pretty good shape!

K-W
I waited to read some of the responses before adding some comments.

My concern has evovled lately as I discovered some information. Recall some threads in the past (in the Lounge or wherever)... and it was stated than incall SP's would keep name and # information for a day or so for safety & security, then destroy the records. May keep a total tally for the day to track business... but no detail records.

Well, it seems that in K-W... some of the indies and incall operations actually keep daily logs or calendars which are not destroyed. This means if you use a fake name, real name, e-mail address, provide a #, or a # comes up on the call display, it is recorded. Some have a long history of records which are the appointment books used for various purposes.

My concern as a client is the existence of these detailed records... and the lack of understanding of the implications if it falls into the hands of LE, jealous boyfriend, disgruntled SP, competition, etc.... even revenue canada! This is more than keeping an address book or contact list.

So my hope is that terbites start to question the practices of local agencies and indies. Seems the concept of *discretion* has been lost lately. Also hope the agencies and indies review their methods to protect themselves as well as clients.

The gossiping is a whole other bag of worms.... and another post.

Is this getting a little blown out of proportion?
I don't think so. Every now and then we need a kick in the ass that should force us to review our hobbying habits. As CEO stated... it's also common for me to hear from the ladies that other Terbites are digging for information about me. It's all cute and nice until something goes wrong and someone decides to become an asshole. What recently happened to me was caused by a local KW Terbite. Yes... one of our own... and it shouldn't take a great deal of effort for some of you to figure out who it was. Don't share your passwords... never enter your password with someone else in the room and never share private information with someone you don't know. You should also know that this individual worked under more than just one Terb handle... so be careful.

Another area of caution

Some of the ladies really like and trust some of us. I don't know why;) ?
They meet a new guy who drops our handle and she thinks he's our buddy; so, she can talk. On several occasions I have had to caution my host to limit what she is telling me.

We probably bring this on ourselves by being too open with the ladies. Don't give too any facts. I think it places too heavy a burden of responsibility on the ladies to maintain confidence. It would be nice, but almost impossible for them not to slip up once in a while.

Be careful how much information you give and caution the ladies if they seem to be getting too detailed in there discussions of other terbites, or others generally..

Remember that some of the ladies like to talk and think we are all in a big club. They generally bring up the other handles.

Personally, I am only interested in whether or not the other guests are : male/female; mature/naive, goodguys/a-holes; bright/?; humorous/dull.This helps me understand the postings on the board.

Be careful and enjoy as hobby times seem to be particularly good right now !!!
