How many times do you think is fair to book and then not show up?

I get that life happens and I try to be flexible and I try to be understanding but I had a real piece of work get ahold of me over the past few days that really got on my nerves.

He obviously read something that I wrote on here and tried to act like some big timer that was gonna book me for multiple hours.

I woke up early to accommodate the time slot that he wanted... Then he rescheduled. He didn't even follow through with his rescheduled time that I blocked off for him. He proceeds to contact me again tonight and try to get me to reschedule with him AGAIN! The audacity 😂

People like this seriously make me want to take deposits for everything. They can't even follow through on their own plans that they made themselves 🙄

Ridiculous

How many times do you think is fair to let someone reschedule?

I don't think people should be given only one chance.

Two maybe.

Definitely not three

Stuff happens and emergencies come up but I feel like by the 2nd booking and definitely the third they have problems with time management, scheduling and maybe some mental health problems like anxiety and its time to cut them loose.

It's one thing to reschedule as long as it's done with advanced notice and not last minute, unless there's extenuating circumstances. That he's done this a second time and wants to book again, tell him the only way you'll reschedule is with a deposit - I'd suggest 50% - because he's 0 for 2 on his previous commitments that could have been used by another customer. If he doesn't, tell him never to book with you again and then block his number.

This...And maybe consider 100% just on as John Travolta says in Pulp Fiction ''general principle''.

0 times with no notice
1 with same day notice and a reasonable and believable excuse
Maybe 2-3 with >/= 2 days notice and a reasonable excuse.

A bit more may be tolerable with a trusted, reliable regular. Rules apply to client and SPs alike.

Shit happens, and a reasonable sp or client understands that, but time is valuable for both parties and should not be wasted. For me, as a client, wasting my time is as bad as promising service and not delivering or stealing from me.
