Party!

Hey everybody: Anyone up for a party? dumb question I noticed in the SC section a couple of different queries about having a party at Cannonball. It’s been awhile since I helped to organize a TERB party and I’m never one to turn down any lovely dancers request for the same… so here it is.

Who all would like to attend a party at Cannonball on Friday November 19th? another dumb question, lol.

EVERYBODY!

Please vote on the poll above so we have an idea how many are attending. Dancers and other ladies attending please post the same (if you don’t mind) to let the guys know you will be there. Remember the more ladies… of course the more guys will show up.

For those who need it here is a link to some info about Cannonball with address etc. Click here:

http://www.clubzone.com/company/details.asp?listing=3375

I could not find a link to Cannonball website (if they have one). If anybody has the kink to Cannonball website please post. Thanks.

Party will be on Friday November 19 starting at around 8pmish. Enjoy!

LET’S PARTY!

Any hotels near Cannonball?

I have not been up that way in about 10 years. Does anybody know a half decent hotel (that won't cost me an arm & a leg) near Cannonball? That or I'll need a ride back to Toronto after the party. I live near The Fairbanks.

Also any more info or links, maps etc you may want to post to help out those who are attending and may have not have been to CB before... please feel free to post. Thanks.

The 4-Points Sheraton on Dixie just south of Meyerside is good. You can even get a hot tub room for about $150. That would be great for a post-CB party with Remy, Kennedy and Dominique to name a few. I'll even get you my company rate!

I like cb but on a Friday night it will be packed even without the party. I don't think there will be room. I suggest MI. Clean large and still not too crowded on a Friday.

Timing is everything...(sometimes)

So get there early.

The thing is as I posted in the SC section whenever I have posted before to ask suggestions on time/place/date etc... There were way too many ideas. So like I said I just decided from now on: "just do it."

Since you know the Cannonball though (I have never been there) maybe you can answer a couple of questions for us. Or anybody else who knows CB well please feel free to post.

What time does it start to get busy? Do they have a VIP area? (I don't mean where you go for dances) Sometimes SCs will have a separate section they will reserve for special guests or parties. Who do you think is the best person to approach management? Maybe someone here who is a regular at CB can go talk to them and get an area set aside for us. Better to see them though after we have a better idea how many are coming. Or... Maybe one of the dancers can do that for us. Failing that...

I just suggest everybody get there early.

... To answer your question though. We have in the past had a lot of parties on Thursday nights. Then recently we had a couple of parties on Friday night. I thought that since this location is a bit of travel time for some that Friday would be better so we can stay late and have a good time. If we have it on Thursday for example I would have to leave by 10pm at the latest to make it home and get up early next morning. Also I found in the past that when I did polls to find out the best night to have it there was as many suggestions as there are TERB members. So I learned a long time ago to 'just do it'. Post a place and time etc... and odds are about 30, 40, or 50 people or more will show.

Yes: I will bring name tags for those who wish.

Hope to see you there.

It gets busy around 8:00-9:00 as I recall although I don't go on Fridays that often.
There are two raised areas. A small one with about 5 tables with a view to the stage and a bigger one with about 10 tables, but no view of the stage, next to the pool tables.
Both are non smoking.

The raised area in the back by the pooltable might be good, nobody every sits there but dancers. The other raised every is very small, and usually occupied.

Call 'em up. Tell 'em it's a stag. Ask for a section for thirty or whatever.

Put Jerbear up as the stag boy. Turn Kennedy loose on him..

Wheeee!!!

I nominate Kennedy, best of both worlds and Herbert has a weakness for blondes.

Perfect. Always IMO the best place to sit in a SC is where all the dancers hang out.

Sounds good to me. Yes maybe Kennedy and/or any of the other dancers there could give them the heads up a week before we arrive. Maybe have that area set aside for us. What do you think ladies?

I've got you covered, if necessary.
Hey Thanks Anon. I may just take you up on that. Thanks.

Where's my Hat
taz the club has been changed the small raised area with a view of the stage is now an enclosed smoking area and the back area with no view is usualy empty with lots of space for a party Groop!!
only drawback is no view!! but the only changing room for the girls is behind this area providing a constant parade of girls to join the party!!

That sounds good to me. Personally I don't care if can see the stage or not. I am there to socialize with my fellow TERBites and the ladies. (Not necessarily in that order). I think lots will agree with me. Who is going to be looking at the stage when we have all the dancers sitting with us in our own private section? Not me.

Emma: That's a question maybe some of the regs from CB can answer. Do they have a cover? I don't know as I have never been there. Last time I was in Brampton was about 10 years ago. I went to the old S&S. If they do have a cover I will phone and ask the Manager about free admission for us since we will be bringing in about 20 - 30 people.

CB fans? Any comments?
