I think the hobby goes through phases...
I used to do it very seldom, once every 3-6 months, then 2-3 years ago started being way more regular with 2-3 ladies a month. With the occasional splurge of 2-3 a week. But this gets expensive and tiresome fast. I used to be driven by the searching for the new lady on BP, finding the next one. And so on. But that got old, not to mention expensive pretty quick. A few less then stellar encounters are a big downer... And with the volume I stopped being satisfied even with "OK" encounters.
Add to the fact that BP is 90% BS these days. Only a handful of ladies advertise on this board, and a single agency (I always wondered why?!?). Barely anyone (interesting) advertises on the Red board anymore. Red board use to have some solid ladies and ads...
So this leads to these days where I try to focus on quality, I have a handful of reputable ladies that I enjoy repeat meetings, half of them being from out of town. I tend to see my local regulars once a month, and splurge when when the travelling ladies are in town. Or use the service of the local agency. So far the average has been about 1-2 encounter a month and I enjoy it much more then the 2-3 a week.
