NOTE: Moving to a free Linux operating systems means you can create .PDF files without purchasing any software. Just a thought.

I use PrimoPDf from http://www.primopdf.com/

Installs as another printer.

I use it to produce price lists from Excel and proofs from Quark.

Get the book from the public library
"PDF Hacks"

in a chapter it will explain that 5 years ago anybody was able to do that because of the driver for Acrobat reader 3-5 I think.

Adobe removed that feature simply for being an ass and sell their program.
Simply install that reader remove a specific file and transfer it to your current reader.

Get the book for better explanation and read that chapter.
