How to get a discount?

I wish my auto repair shop gave me discounts for the amount of times I've been a repeat customer...

They just screw you less? hey....common ground!

Some men will not read it that way. Some men will try to be repeat customers hoping solely for a discount and when they are not offered it, may ask, may get mad, may try to get "even" for all the money they spent.

I know your intentions are good but I stick with my statement, this is a dangerous thread.

The concept of spending more (multiple visits) to possibly save somehow in the future is comical.

There are ways to make both sides happy without sacrifices. One example is meeting at her residence (if you're repeat client and she feels safe and comfortable around you) to save on the cost of a hotel. She may charge same or less and will keep more $$.

People do it. All the time. Especially men in this industry. Then they get mad when it doesn't work.

Same with BBFS. Men will spend on tons of appointments hoping to convince the provider to do it bare. When it doesn't work, they get pissed off.

Seems counterintuitive. Men seeking discounts are very unlikely to spend extra cash chasing a phantom discount.

Can't comment on BBFS though. Never thought of it as a good idea. Was offered it just once in a heat of the moment, but refused cuz I see no real upside to it. Better safe than sorry.
