How to stop chrome from filling a website?

Every time I put a S in the chrome bar it gives me this website. soccer-goalshd.blogspot.com/2022/11/more-goals-20112022.html

I do look for soccer sites but I don't remember going to this site and now it won't go away. I tried the clear browsing data, cookies etc. But it keeps coming back

Apart from removing the URL with the X option as I suggested, there are a couple of things you can do:

• Chrome / Settings / You and Google / Sync & Google Services / Other Google Services / Improve search suggestions - Turn that off by toggling it.
• Chrome / Profile Icon / Manage Google Account / Data and Privacy / Personal Results in Search (Underneath History Settings Section, on Right) - Turn that off by toggling it.

Beyond this you cannot do anything else imo.
