Hey I just won Two Million, Nine Hundred And Seven Thousand, Two Hundred And Seventy Five Pounds Sterling from The National Lottery, Liverpool, United Kingdom!

I am so excited I don't know what to do first.

Should I invest in TERB?

Should I leave town immediately? And not tell any of my friends or relatives where I am gone?

Maybe I should book four-hour session with a 1/2 dozen Asian ladies and have all this stress massaged away and then decide what to do.

Should I get an X5 or a H2?

Or dear me… what to do, what to do.

Fellow TERBites… please help. :p

Congrats!

1. Figure out what you want to do first. Quit your job, run a business, retire and philander, whatever.

2. Hire a reputable, professional financial advisor and a lawyer. Don't use friends, and don't use family. Guaranteed that you'll end up in a fight.

3. Tell your advisors about your goals, and instruct them to suggest how to make it happen.

If you want suggestions for professionals, let me know.
Yes, yes... quit my job... why didn't I think of that?

Run a biz... yes, yes... I am thinking of opening a spa. I am going to specialize in Asians, French and other Redheads and Suicide Girls!

Professionals... yes, yes... that's why I posted on here... TERB is full of professionals. So I knew I would get all the best advice and help I needed right here.

Do nothing for 30 days. Put it in a GIC and do nothing. People will come out of the woodwork and you can use the time to talk to a financial advisor.

Then destroy your enemies.

You donate it to charity: the Kate University Fund accepts cash donations. :p

I'm kidding, of course. Congratulations, you lucky guy!

Why are you posting on TERB? You should be planning a nice vacation!
Oh... I will be leaving on vacation very soon.

One reason for posting on TERB though is to find a couple of nice redheads to take with me.

I like women who are really bold and just come out and say it... Take Me, Take Me.

So far the only contender is Angelina.

Any other suggestions?

Congrats. Considerations:-

1) Are you sure you have won this money?

2) Determine what sort of a lifestyle you really want to lead as 2M pounds won't last a lifetime if you lead an extravagant life and will vanish sooner than you know. Therefore you should determine your estimated annual expenditures for the rest of your life and then talk to a financial advisor on how you can meet your income needs by investing the money you have won. Then get tax advice on how to best to structure the income receipt (most like setup a corporation - receiving salaries vs. dividends). Also take into account whether you intend to work, when you want to retire, debt repayments etc.

3) Don't tell anyone about it 'coz you might be an ideal candidate for a kidnapping.

4) People who tell you to spoil yourself and live a life in luxury are not your well wishers.

5) I will re-iterate #2 to say that $4M CAD is not a lot of money to live a "Luxurious" lifesetyle for the rest of your life, so don't blow your money on a porsche or any other fancy thing. Depending on your investments you can reasonably expect to have annual before-tax cash flows of $80K - $300K for the rest of your life.

Good luck.

Why not?

Only about 200 memebers or so know who I really am.

So if I throw a SC party and buy everybody (all 200 people) 5 dances each that's only $20,000.00... just a drop in the bucket. :D

Ah shucks...

Looks like I'm not going to get my dream come true after all...

From the e-mail I got this morning about my winning:

For precautionary measures, you are advised to keep your winning information confidential till your claims is processed and your money remitted to you in whatever manner you deem fit to claim your prize. This is part of our Policy to avoid double claiming and unwarranted abuse of this program. Please be warned.
Since I shared info with all you all... I have disquialfied myself.

Darn! :(

LMAO...

Please be warned.... I like that part.

The sad part is lots of people fall for this scam and e-mail them back the info etc they ask for. Oh Man... too much.

Anyway... thanks for the fun Friday everybody.

I'll be back. Please be warned.
