I'm going to take a guess and say that most members of this board are very well-off compared to the average joe... So, now that we have established that we have some millionaires and other wealth on the board, lets move on... (I spend $600/week on this hobby) but, its not the money, its about the love for women, relaxation, and discretion in some cases.
My opinion about I-N... They appear to be making an effort to provide us with quality women... Their prices reflect something out of toronto, not Ottawa, having someone sick is understandable, however, not an excuse...
Questions comes down to... What is I-N going to do about it?

On booking and scheduling:
If you schedule your appointment early with whoever is scheduled to visit and get a last minute cancellation then it would 'suck'. However we've likely been on the other side too where you're rushing to an appointment and hit traffic, construction or bad weather (happened to me earlier this winter) - and your date politely accepts this and does not make a big deal about it, or watch the clock (lucky you).
However - if you're working within the process and trying to schedule a date and are having bad luck with logistics then it is possible to see how frustrated this could make you.
On the latest push to increase donations:
Listen to yourselves - you guys are bickering and taking shots at each other and losing track of what is going on. In the last little while I-N keeps reminding us of the quality of their models and that the Ottawa market is not good for their business ($250 compared to $300 for other canadian cities, and also their models get $US when they cross the border).
If you go back and look at the history, I-N introduced the $250 rate as a special when they started in Ottawa - so now, this is nothing but a masked attempt to blackmail the guys in this city into paying the higher rate.
Now before you jump all over me and call me cheap - I may not be a millionaire CEO - but I can afford the $300 canadian for the hour - however, what the hell is so special that this needs to be $300? Some other SPs advertise a $500/hr rate. What does the $500/hr session get you that the $250 doesn't - would the SP strap on a dildo and penetrate you? Come on! <unless you're into that shit>
What is the $300 I-N model giving you that the $250 model isn't? Is it because she greets you at the door with a glass of champagne - if it's champagne you want stop at the LCBO on your way home and pick up some.
This is like the F#@king gas companies messing with the gas price, everytime a rain cloud passes over.
Don't be fooled gentlemen - the models at I-N are great (some more than others) but if I-N packed up and left town, someone else would set up shop.
It is all about the money guys - these girls are in it for the money and they will whisper any bullshit in your ear to get you to return. I'm guilty of playing this game too - <I have posted a number of reviews on many an SP> and have listened to many a bullshit -come on, I'm a guy too.

I have been watching this thread and have had to bite my tongue to not jump in. I have to say though that this thread is so similar to so many others. That is the sp's are loath to assume responsibility for the messes they create. Very popular approach. I myself have been jerked around so much by I-N I just gave up.

While I-N isn't perfect their track record of customer service is alot better than most agencies and independents out there. Give the benefit of the doubt to maxine she probably has to deal with alot of crap on a daily basis - not only with unreasonable clients but with somewhat unreliable talent as well. Its the nature of this biz.
I've used I-N's services only twice and the service is worthy of a top price over some of the alternatives around here. I-N has to price itself in the marketplace or make the decision not serve a certain market. In any business there will always be regional differences in the way goods and services are priced
