Why do conservatives always whine about problems that are provincial jurisdiction then vote for the party that would make them worse?
Talking about the entire country buddy. Didn’t bring up a provincial jurisdiction issue. Also I don’t identify as a conservative since this is the one time I have voted for them.

Are you sure you read my post?

Two questions:
1) What are the issues that are driving you to vote conservative?
2) Do you want Canada to be run like the states?

So you misread my initial post and are now going to ask me idiotic questions with no acknowledgment of my response. Sorry buddy I got better things to do than dance for someone who can’t even respond properly. I just hope you improperly read the ballot as well and end up putting an X on the Conservative candidate lol

Your initial post just said you voted conservative because you think things are going in the wrong direction.
Every time I've asked someone voting conservative this question they list issues that are provincial.

Here we go someone who will take every single issue in this country and twist it to somehow be solely a provincial problem. I remember arguing once with someone that did the same thing. Voting is underway. I got my vote in. You are obviously voting Liberal. God bless and have a nice life. No need to waste time on a back and forth for a votes that are already cast.

exactly what do think Carney can do to stand up to Trump that Pierre P can not ?
be very specific about the supposed actions you think Carney will take ?

it is comical that the loonie let have abandoned the working man and are backing a globalist investment banker instead
Trump argues that tariffs will restore American economic greatness, but Carney has the expertise and global influence to neutralize the effects of Trump's devastating tariffs. Canada has already under advice from Carney offloaded U.S. bonds, sending ripples through the American bond market. An action mirrored by several other countries. Carney understands financial strategy and how to strategically shield Canada while disrupting Trump’s economic maneuvers. Trump has counted on the American public’s limited understanding of global economics to support his broad tariff campaign. Carney has the credibility to expose Trump as the "Wizard of Odd", pulling back the curtain on every scam every grift, every illusion. He can do it with unmatched authority and experience.

Trump has built himself up as an astute business man that has built a real estate empire. He fancies himself as the master of " The Art of the Deal ". In reality, he inherited his wealth and left behind a trail of failed ventures and multiple bankruptcies. Mark Carney, built his career on merit. He began at Goldman Sachs, rising swiftly through the ranks, and was called upon to advise Russia during its 1998 financial crisis. His expertise led to his appointment as Governor of the Bank of Canada in 2008, in 2012, he became the first foreigner to head the Bank of England,. A testament to his global reputation. Trump is a madman at the helm. Carney brings calm, competence, and credibility. At a time when the world economy teeters on the edge of recession/depression.

Time for a change? Do you mean become the 51st. state? I heard Trump likes PP. Carney is the best man to stand up to Trump, with his experience as the Governor of the Bank of Canada he knows what to do to hurt Trump. The Brits hired outside the U.K. to get the best.
This is a lie. Typical liberal voter.

Seriously it’s insane people live with that in their heads.
They can't win with facts so they lie.

Carney has not one solid endorsement from his peers as his time as Bank Governor in Canada or UK. They all said he was poor. Think about that.

The highlight of his Career is hiding taxes, moving business away from Canada and getting paid off from China.

Canada has already taken a bold step by offloading U.S. bonds, sending ripples through the American bond market, an action mirrored by several other countries.
that is a bullshit story

the US Treasury market is the largest and most liquid bond market in the world.

Issuance (as of March) $7.3 trillion, +1.7% Y/Y. Trading (as of March) $1,048.0 billion ADV, +17.9% Y/Y. Outstanding (as of March) $28.6 trillion, +6.1% Y/Y.Apr 4, 2025

Surprise! China and Japan actually raised their US treasury holdings in February

Recent speculation that China and Japan were dumping U.S. Treasuries took a hit on Wednesday after a report from the U.S Treasury Department showed that foreign holdings of Treasuries actually rose 3.4% in February.

Both China and Japan increased their holdings in the month.
financial institutions hold way more US treasuries than foreign governments
financial institutions manage their bond positions based on expectations of economic growth/ future interest rate changes and suppyl and demand, not based on what Mark Carney says

Mark Carney can not and does not push the US bond market around

Carney understands financial strategy and how to strategically shield Canada while disrupting Trump’s economic maneuvers.Trump has counted on the American public’s limited understanding of global economics to support his broad tariff campaign. Carney has the credibility to expose Trump as the "Wizard of Odd", pulling back the curtain on every scam every grift, every illusion. He can do it with unmatched authority and experience.
Financial Institutions Withdrawing from Net Zero Alliances

launched ahead of COP26 in April 2021 under the leadership of Mark Carney
and Michael Bloomberg, the Glasgow Financial Alliance for Net Zero (GFANZ) was established as a coalition of financial institutions collectively overseeing USD 130 trillion in assets, aiming to align portfolios with the Paris Agreement’s 1.5°C target. The NZBA, Net Zero Asset Managers Initiative, and Net-Zero Asset Owner Alliance, all operating under the broader umbrella of GFANZ, have recently seen high-profile departures, with the potential for additional exits going forward.
Recent Withdrawals

Since December 2024, the six largest banks in Canada have left the NZBA, joining high-profile American banks such as JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Citigroup, Goldman Sachs and others. These actions have been tied to political risks and growing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) backlash, as recent campaigns have framed climate alliances as anti-competitive and legally precarious. In response, banks have framed their strategic retreat from climate alliances and the scaling bank of their climate commitments as necessary realignments with evolving regulatory landscapes and client priorities. Several institutions cite the need to avoid perceived antitrust violations stemming from collaborative decarbonization targets, particularly under intensified scrutiny from lawmakers.

Trump has built himself up as an astute business man that has built a real estate empire. He fancies himself as the master of " The Art of the Deal ". In reality, he inherited his wealth and left behind a trail of failed ventures and multiple bankruptcies. Mark Carney, built his career on merit. yeah, so you mistakenly think Mark Carney can play chicken with Donald Trump using the US bond Market

Mark Carney can not and will not do anything Pierre Poilievre can not do

you position is entirely based on a false bullshit narrative and misleading propaganda

No you said, and I quote your post " I heard Trump likes PP. "
Not "might like Trump" but " I heard Trump likes PP"

You got caught in another lie.
No, no lie. The FBI thinks the Russians have a PP tape on Trump.

You have no sense of humor, that one went over your head.

Nice try but another huge fail.

Tell me, is the sky blue in your world? Do you flap your arms and fly into the heavens and take a spoon out of your pocket to taste the orange sherbet skies? Do you pluck pieces of the clouds off that taste like cotton candy? Do you twirled, skip, jump and tumble all day till you fall down in laughter? When it rains in your world, do you run outside to stand perfectly still to catch the fizzy 7up rain in your mouth. Do you resent the men in white coats that make you take medication and take you out of your ideal utopian world?
