He's been in that ceiling for a long time now...
Absolutely no truth in his arguments. For example he just tried to argue with me that the Hainan incident led to the accession of China into the WTO and got a better deal because the US was at fault or hiding somethinv. His timeline is all incorrect and the evidence points to the chinese fighter pilot at fault. Then you challenge him with facts and he goes back to hiding in the ceiling.

We will have to wait and see.

if you are going to quote me use the whole statement

yeah, so you mistakenly think Mark Carney can play chicken with Donald Trump using the US bond Market
there is no wait and see

i am telling you quite clearly
Mark Carney can not and does not push the US bond market around

your entire premise is based on bullshit propaganda you naively jumped all over because it sounded favourable to Carney

if you had any understanding of the bond market you should be very concerned about irresponsible liberal spending and their never ending deficit financing
never ending deficit financing is not sustainable and will have to come to an end, and that
will severely impact govt's ability to provide health care/ education
the provinces balance sheets are a mess because of liberal overspending and never ending deficit financing

Mark Carney can not and will not do anything Pierre Poilievre can not do

one would think a ceiling cat having a elevated view above all others in the room would be aware of the dangers of irresponsible liberal spending policies

Carneys net zero policies >>> net zero wealth creation for Canada

No one says he did it, but its possible he had a role in orchestrating it with like minded players.

Here we go someone who will take every single issue in this country and twist it to somehow be solely a provincial problem. I remember arguing once with someone that did the same thing. Voting is underway. I got my vote in. You are obviously voting Liberal. God bless and have a nice life. No need to waste time on a back and forth for a votes that are already cast.
There are things that are JURISDICTIONAL. Yeah people like you say its immigration, but the housing issue is also present in markets that receive very few immigrants. Also provincial and municipal govts know how many immigrants are coming, and that they need to deliver more housing. They DID NOT. They are given jurisdiction and RESPONSIBILITY in the constitution. Yet you probably voted for DOFO as well. 🙄🥱

Voted for cons. I don't believe that either party will be able to resolve current issues in Canada. In order to do that, we need to change mentality and stop being a doormat and let people take advantage of our social systems and tolerance.
However, i see what Liberals did in the past 10 years and now it's time to see what Conservatives can do. The main reasons for me to turn away from Liberals are:
1) Immigration - liberals seems to be dead set on bringing more and more people. I am not able to find a family doctor and i have no idea where my taxes go.
2) Crime - the leniency should stop. Just yesterday i read in BC news that a serial rapist was released on bail. Within a day he broke his bail promise.
3) Domestic manufacturing. Yes, environment is important, but if people cannot find a job and afford food then all these environment efforts will do more harm. Pump oil -> get profit -> invest profit into green tech. Don't just outsource all jobs to China and India who give zero shit about environment.

If environmen refers to Liberals' climate policy then there is more reason
to vote them out. Trudeau and his Liberals are climate liars. Carbon emission
has been rising in the last ten years. All the talks about climate urgency
and pledges of net-zero emissions are ploys to sucker climate sheeple voters.
Though not a climate lunatic like Steven Guilbeault, Carney is a known climate
hypocrite. Under Carney the Liberals will continue growing Canada's contribution
to global carbon emission. Vote Green Party of Canada if you truly wants
a party more committed to fighting climate change. Conservatives are fine
too. At least they are not climate hypocrites under the guise of climate warriors
like Trudeau and Carney.

Voting again today
I am aware that in the USA, if you wear a MAGA hat, you have unlimited voting but here in Canada, how many times are we allowed?

The countries around the world are selling U.S. Dollars, bonds. Trump has eroded confidence in American. The dollars are spilling over the dam now. When the other countries get tariffed, will the dam burst?

U.S. Dollars looks like its pretty close to its 5 year average

re US bonds

the massive US debt and deficits are the issue
An issue Elon Musk is trying to correct

Who will buy the oncoming surge of Treasuries? And at what price?

Growing US federal budget deficits and higher refinancing costs are bringing renewed attention to the US Treasury market.

Over the next decade, an estimated US$2 trillion of net issuance is expected annually.
  • the debt the US govt has accumulated over its 240 year history is expected to double in nine years given the status quo
  • 20% of US govt revues are consumed by interest payments on its current debt
This is a ticking time bomb

The US debt bomb has nothing to do with Mark Carney
