I don't know how old you are, but you'll find as you get older your friendship base tightens, but the quality is unquestionable.

As for wanting to know why, I'll tell you. You were never her friend to begin with. I know you probably want to know details on why this is, but you've got to come to grips that not everyone will like you and some people are better left off the friendship list altogether.

She was never my friend in the first place? Ouch, that really hurts. But, in a sense, I guess you're right, come to think of it. Sometimes the truth hurts.

Thanks for your support, Spode, I appreciate it. Also, thanks to everyone who took the time to reply and put their two cents in. I read all the posts and learned from them. I really needed to vent and grieve, this was someone who was very special to me. Otherwise, I would never have even considered posting this.

I will be more careful in choosing my friends, and more importantly, who I allow myself to fall in love with.
