What exactly 'gave it away'? Are you in the medical profession, perhaps?
How could I have been in medical school?
1) I dislike jargon and believe that if you cannot communicate without it you are just trying to create an illusion of intelligence and competence.
2) I believe that the entire North American intern program has more to do with the old boy club and hazing than with learning. I also believe that after 24 hours (let alone 36 hours) no one should be allowed near a patient.
3) I find that existing Doctors who want to help attractive young females prepare for the boards are just dirty old men and if you tell them to fuck off they tell everyone you have a terrible attitude. Best is to just not give them any straight answers.
4) I find that the Canadian system provides great service to those who cannot afford medical care, but mediocre care for those who can afford to pay for great service.
5) I quit the program and elected to abandon medicine. Shocking.
How could I have been a medical student given those 5 impossible things?
