For example: in the current real estate market in the US SOMEONE had to get the money from all those high risk mortgages. Whether they were builders, developers, investors, owners, whatever. The money went to someone......
Not always true, value can increase out of thin air by a larger demand, the same is true in reverse. When the economy grows, it isn't at the expense of someone else - an increased circulation of the same dollar will make it increase.
