who is Terri Schiavo and what's been going on with her

Can someone give a quick synopsis on her and using 'Venn Diagrams', describe her family structure

Terri is a brain damaged woman who's husband wants her to die peacefully, not live in a brain damaged state (as he says she would want it) while her parents (the Schindlers) want to keep her alive as they feel she hasn't been given proper care while Pres. and Gov. Bushes and the GOP congress have meddled but the Supreme Court has refused to reinsert the feeding tube.

Basically, she's starving to death as we speak.
