You mean BBC world service? No, but I was there in 1979 (only 15 but I clearly remember), things were very good. The economy, the social freedom (my uncle took me to a strip bar in downtown Tehran even I was 15). People were happy and partying. Construction eveywhere. The military and economy very strong. A solid justice system. Total equality for our citizens (women, religous minorities, racial minorities). Free health and education for everyone.

If BBC says otherwise, they lie. We all know who is backing the reactionary mullahs in the history (the British).
