Guess what. The team is made up of his teammates. You cannot separate the two.

So once again you are agreeing that he hurt the team and thus his teammates.

Another revelation is that his professional teammates want to win games and, as you admitted, he hurt the team's performance. Therefore he lessened their chances of winning games. How can you possible say that that is not hurting his teammates? Your whole argument is devoid of logic and rationality.

BTW, THAT game set and match. You got bagelled.

Were you in favour of the covid vax or not?

It's clear why you are too scared out of your wits to answer. It blows up your contention even more than I've already done. Are you really that deathly afraid to answer a simple question? Do you have no belief in your supposed convictions that you can't even say what they are?
I can play this game all day...
these teammates made up of millionaires play a game of basketball, whether they win or not, they get paid...
Kyrie is a player with a belief, he can't be forced to do something he can't, he took the suspension (punishment) for what he believed in....he's a free man.
I had vaccine shots, what does that tell you? or you just chose to ignore it?
Here's an example of one of Kyries former teammates after a loss....

That changes nothing. He hurt their chances of winning, hurt their chances of making more money from winning, from getting more endorsements, from getting bigger contracts down the road etc. So your point is wrong. They make MORE if they win. They make waaay more. Oh, they care plenty about the money.

Have you noticed how happy players are when they win a championship? Is that because they already make millions and it doesn't matter to them if they win or lose? Winning is important to them and making more money is important to them. I've heard many NHL'ers say that winning is more important to them than the money. Anybody who makes it to the top league of any pro sport is ultra competitive. Winning is what every competitive person wants to do.

I already said that he is free to make a choice. My point is that he weakened his team (to which you already agreed) by his choice, he weakened his teammates chances of winning by his choice. Whether his stance is correct or not is not relevant. He weakened and hurt his teammates despite your claim to the contrary.

Why would you want to keep playing this game all day when you keep losing?

Senna intentionally took out Prost to win the 1990 World Championship.

Verstappen has taken out many drivers to try and gain places without any guilt. Auto racing isn't a sport where you take unnecessary chances that put lives in danger.

Hamilton and Toto enjoyed 7-8 of dominance in F1. Now that they aren't competitive all they do is complain how boring F1 is. Guess they were asleep during those 7-8 years. When the car design rules changed(cost cap) and the car was a bouncing piece of shit they wanted rules changed to suit them.

So your point is wrong.
Man, you spend a lot of time and energy telling a lot of different people they're wrong on a very regular basis. You might want to step back, digest that fact, and ask yourself why you're like that and why you feel compelled to behave in that manner. Just sayin'.....

More like pride to win...Kawhi wasn't happy with the Raptors even with the potential to do a back to back with the same roster...he just wants to be here he wanted to be...(hurt his teammates but didn't care he wanted out...just like he wanted out of the Spurs)....load management hurt teams don't they? Load management where a guy isn't injured but just wants some "rest"....LoL...you can have your "game set match" to make yourself feel better...you didn't win shit. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

FWIW…Here is Barstool Sports’ Frank the Tank providing his Top 5 Most Hated Athletes.

I don’t agree w hating on Eric Lindros but Kyrie made his list too.

Yeah, the Lindros stuff is unfair. He was a beast in his prime (before the Stevens hit), but he wasn't a bully/goon. I would also argue that the trade with Philly won Quebec/Colorado the cup, something they probably wouldn't have accomplished if Lindros signed (now, mind you, there is a better chance the Nords might have stayed in QC...)

As for assholes in today's game:

I agree with James Harden. He feels like a cancer. He's a pretty good player, but he is constantly wanting a new deal or to be traded. And he plays like shit when he isn't happy. Plus, he once put some shade on Toronto's strip club scene....asshole....

I've already admitted that I'm a nitpicker. I know who I am and you are contributing nothing.

In fact, just as you did in the Lebanese food thread, your unrelenting and unprovoked attacks on me from all angles is going to take another thread off the rails. It actually seems like an unhealthy obsession with you. Calm down. Stop letting me live in your head.

If you don't like my posts, put me on ignore. Please.

Not exactly the same. One involves not being happy with your team, so that is what compels one's choice to leave that team behind and hurting them is the furthest thing from their minds.

With the vax, you are still staying with the teammates that you are hurting while supposedly helping them. IMO, it's a betrayal of how teammates are supposed to treat each other.

I believe that in many cases, load management decisions are made by the team with, obviously, feedback from the player. And they don't always agree with having to sit.

Regardless, hopefully you feel the same as I, that we've hashed this out enough.

There's too many other assholes in sports yet to discuss.

It’s so sad that these athletes, some elite have such big egos and are complete assholes.

I’d add Marchand (Bruins) and A-Rod to the list too.
Never forget Sean Avery’s comment, RE: his ex gf Elisha Cuthbert marrying Dion Phaneuf
“If he wants my sloppy seconds he can have her”
These guys get paid millions to play sports we love, a little humility goes a long way.
Some of them are amazing to watch, but I’d never want to meet or speak with them given the opportunity because their assholes.

and it's betrayal of yourself if you let "betrayal of teammates" on top of your own priorities...Kyrie is far from the worst players of NBA...

There are many ways to be an asshole. Racist, dirty player, endangering others with firearms, dogging it, domestic violence, betrayal of teammates, intent to injure etc. You name it, it's been done.

Bill Laimbeer truly was a dirty player. Didn't they win a championship with him?

Funny. When you do it to Darts it's all cool. But when the same is being done to you, you don't like it. Stop your bullying shack, and people will get off your back.

To quote you directly from this very thread 'I'll move on when I'm satisfied. Not when you tell me to.' Do you remember saying that recently to someone else? It's post #73 just for your reference. How's it feel now?

I don't know what winning a championship with his team got to do with tackling opponents and cause them harm...still an asshole...Kyrie also gave Lebron and the Cavs a championship...he wasn't an asshole then...You pick Kyrie because he is "anti-woke"...he's way below the list of "asshole meter" in sports...

Pretty funny how can reference a quote of mine but not the one that's in your tag line. That's a lie and you can't produce.

And why do keep taking threads off topic? Little one, the hate is strong within you. Along with your obsession of me.
