Well this twit's theory is not supported by the facts. The Conservatives just received another Provincial majority in NFLD, the Federal Conservatives were handed their first majority in May in 20 years. Even in Ontario while the provincial Conservatives had a poor showing after leading the polls for 2 years they still made major gains in the popular vote and in the number of seats won.
So really just a bunch of blather and wishful thing.
Ha, the Newfoundland Tories are probably Harper's biggest enemies of all the proviencal governments in Canada. Even the NDP premiers got along with Harper better then Danny Williams. The irony is that support from the Newfoundland proviencial Tory's helped the federal NDP wins seats in Newfoundland federally for what maybe the first time.
Newfoundland has the lowest tuition in the country, by far, about a third what its is in Ontario. The Newfoundland Tories are the Reddest Tories in the country and they still lost seats to the NDP, which had barely existed in the country at the time.
You should read Chantal Herberts, latest on the liberals and the NDP.
Still, its not an absolutist thing, we turning left or right, I think its more a polerization this thing between the NDP and the Tories which is slowly squeezing out the liberals. This will not happen over night, the liberals still have some assets and the weight of a long history, but the are being slowly eroded.
The liberals are nearly dead in the west,Quebec hates them, the NDP is growing in Alantic Canada, and even in Ontario, the NDPs most challenging region were eroding them support.
