Harper was right. Islamism is a threat.

Very enlightening stuff from a Muslim.

Three years ago, when Prime Minister Stephen Harper declared the major threat Canada faced was “Islamicism”, he faced a barrage of criticism.

Veteran NDP strategist Gerry Caplan accused Harper of bigotry.

Writing in The Globe and Mail, Caplan said, “Why does our leader choose to feed into the bigotry of those who are determined to smear all Muslims as terrorists?”

Harper had not said anything of the sort, but that did not stop his vilification.

As if on cue, Islamic groups demanded Harper issue an apology.

The Islamic Supreme Council of Canada issued a nationwide call urging mosque imams to condemn Harper’s statement in prayer gatherings.

“How can Mr. Harper associate Islam with radicalism and fanaticism?” the council said in a statement.

Well, it is that time of the year again.

The thirteenth anniversary of 9/11 is upon us and Harper’s prediction, made in 2011, has come true.

No one could’ve imagined three years ago that the forces of Islamism would gain such strength that they would carve out an “Islamic State” of their own, butcher thousands, and pose such a threat to the rest of the world that NATO has finally met to discuss how to fight the ogre that threatens our civilization.

In the 13 years since 9/11, tens of thousands have died, over a trillion dollars have gone down the drain and we are today worse off than we were on the day the twin towers fell in New York.

It’s time for the rest of NATO and the United States to pay attention to Harper and gather the courage to challenge the ideology of Islamism, even if Turkey — a NATO member ****— objects.

We Muslims need to acknowledge the beheadings by ISIS are part of Islamic tradition, text and history, not some fringe interpretation of our faith.

None other than the grandson of Prophet Mohammed was slaughtered and his head paraded through the streets of Damascus on a spike.

The ISIS jihadis are doing exactly what we Muslims are taught our Prophet did during warfare.

Here is a quote from the voluminous biography of the Prophet of Islam, Sirat Rasul Allah by Ibn Ishaq, popularly known as the Sira:

“Then they (Jews) surrendered and the apostle (Prophet Mohammed) confined them in Medina. Then the apostle went out to the market and dug trenches in it. Then he sent for them (Jews) and struck off their heads in those trenches … There were 600 or 700 in all.”

In my book, The Jew is Not My Enemy, I disputed this account of mass murder, but was assailed for having challenged what many, if not all Muslims, consider absolute truth.

Islam is not a religion of peace.

It’s not necessarily a religion of war, either, but it would be a lie to deny that its history and literature are seeped in armed jihad, assassinations and bloodshed that simply cannot be swept under a carpet.

Only we Muslims can reform Islam for future generations.

But first, we must stop lying in the name of Allah.

It’s no use denouncing ISIS while refusing to renounce jihad.

We need to join Harper and NATO on the front lines of the fight against Islamism.

Go through the bible it has the same sh*t. If Christians and Catholics followed their holy book like many Islamists do, then they would be equally as compelled to kill and murder. Christianity has been declawed, someone considers himself a good christian because 3 hours on a sunday they go to church, the other 164 hours in the week they eat shrimp, wear clothes composed of two of more types of linen, and stomp on the poor masses to get ahead.
Why don't YOU go through the bible and create your own list? At least OP referenced his point. You didn't because you can't...because you are wrong. Prove it! It's WAY to easy to go around saying the bible says this and the bible says that. Don't be lazy.

If you open your mind and look around you. You will see that all religions have the same message.

Love

All God or the Gods want is our love. Now true love is unconditional and is giving with out the expectation. This world has more than enough of everything to satisfy every human being.

Now look up at the sky. Do you see how infinite the Univers is? Well that is also how infinite God is. Religious books have been corrupted by people from the past. They place boundaries and limits to the reality of what God is.

What religious extremist are doing is ridiculous. Just as ridiculous as God telling moses to kill 3000 people that offended him. Also how ridiculous is it that according to the bible God told Moses that he would no longer continue on the journey with his chosen people. Because they were so stiffed neck that if hee continue they wuld anger him and he would exterminate all off them

The truth of the greatness off God can be found in all religions, but you have to read and analyze. What realky came from Gods love and what man changed in order to control the masses.

I sin all the time and fail my promises to God all the time. Yet evvery time I have asked for his help. He was always helped me.

He could ignore me and treat me the way I deserve. Instead he has always gving me his love and compation

Love...
And too often the duty to bring others into that version of 'love' even if it means having to kill or torture them.

Genisis 30

So when Jacob came in from the fields that evening, Leah went out to meet him. “You must sleep with me,” she said. “I have hired you with my son’s mandrakes.”**So he slept with her that night.

Says who?
Lot and His Daughters

30**Now Lot went up out of Zoar and**mlived in the hills with his two daughters, for he was afraid to live in Zoar. So he lived in a cave with his two daughters.**31**And the firstborn said to the younger, “Our father is old, and there is not a man on earth to come in to us after the manner of all the earth.**32**Come, let us make our father drink wine, and we will lie with him, that we may preserve offspring from our father.”**33**So they made their father drink wine that night. And the firstborn went in and lay with her father. He did not know when she lay down or when she arose.

34**The next day, the firstborn said to the younger, “Behold, I lay last night with my father. Let us make him drink wine tonight also. Then you go in and lie with him, that we may preserve offspring from our father.”**35**So they made their father drink wine that night also. And the younger arose and lay with him, and he did not know when she lay down or when she arose.**36**Thus both the daughters of Lot became pregnant by their father.**37**The firstborn bore a son and called his name Moab.2**nHe is the father of the Moabites to this day.**38**The younger also bore a son and called his name Ben-ammi.3**oHe is the father of the Ammonites to this day.

God would never tell us to kill. It is one of the 10 comandments.
Jesrus went unto the mount of Olives.

2**And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them.

3**And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst,

4**They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.

5**Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?

6**This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with**his**finger wrote on the ground,**as though he heard them not

7**So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

8**And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.

9**And they which heard**it, being convicted by**their own**conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest,**evenunto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.

10**When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?

11**She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

Break Gd's commandments and alk that happens is you dont get to go to the VIP lounge in heaven, but ni desth or burning in hell.
Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach**them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 5:19

He who has my laws and keeps them, he it is who has love for me: and he who has love for me will be loved by my Father, and I will have love for him and will let myself be seen clearly by him. John 14:21

Remember the out of the blue murder of the 19 year-old soon-to-be sophomore at the University of Richmond, this past June at an intersection in Northern New Jersey?

Well, Ali Muhammad Brown, 29, has now been charged with four first-degree murders three in Washington state and the one in New Jersey.

His self-confessed motive for all four murders: As a Muslim he was exacting "'vengeance against the United States for its foreign policies."

So that's not a religious crime, that's a political crime.
Stupid, wrong, but not religiously based.

But probably this qualifies as a religious war:

Really??? There is not a religious motivation to the murders???

May I suggest that you tell the accused murderer Ali Muhammad Brown this, since he certainly believes that religion was his motivation for murdering these four people, indeed he proudly told homicide detectives so.

Actually the commandment is 'murder' not 'kill'. Plenty of killing in the bible.

And God used to be bad-assed but then he had a kid and went soft. He used to do things like flooding the whole world because they were sinners, endorsing slavery, killing first born, tearing down walls in warfare, having people executed for adultery or blasphemy, and opening the earth to swallow opponents. Moses referred to him as a warrior and he used to do things like shattering enemies with his own hand.

Typical grog. Makes excuses for horrible things and tries to shift the blame.

Thou shalt not kill. http://www.kingjamesbibleonline.org/Exodus-20-13/

Nah all that cramp didn't come from God. It came from the rules that got changed what God really said. However, not all of it was changed by the rulers such a Solomon. Does one man really need over 700 wives. Does God really need a temple of Gold.

Just look a the beauty of Gods architecture such as the grand canyon, the Australian Coral reef, the stars, the moon, the alps, countless lakes and so on and so on. With all that does any one really believe that he needs a temple of Gold. Or for people to kill each other over a bunch of rocks that are found in Jerusalem.

With having created such a vast universe, God is only going to have one door to enter heaven. Which will is located in the wholly land and will only open on judgement day.

What is happening is that the real word of God is coming. Which is nothing of the evil that is being done in his name. God never said for people to do any evil things.

The bible and all books are written using words. Words were created by man to communicate with each other. It is man the one that put those words together and claimed they came from God.

However, in nature and in Gods creation you will never find a single letter. Which should be clue enough that the religious books were not from God, but from men.

God is real, but he is love. Also please know that I refer to God as a he as I am male, But God could very well be a woman, or a couple or many Gods. I really don't know, but I know that in God's purity their is no jealousy and he is secure enough not to be insulted by mistaken ideas.
