ISO: Guelph Motels / Hotels

Looking for somewhere in the Guelph area to partake in a little fun. I don't really know the Royal City, so I'm seeking the advice of the board. The key criterion in order of importance are:

1. clean
2. nice
3. discreet (prefer to pay cash if possible, although not a must)
4. cheap

Other options like jacuzzi or the like would be nice but not mandatory. Please let me know your suggestions - including price points if you have some idea.

Comfort Inn

When I was independent in Guelph I always used the Comfort Inn and got a room around the back. No body ever questioned.

Hello there

Holiday in Express is a nice one. Also the Comfort In. You could also try the other holiday in on Stone road mall area depending what you are looking for. They have a pool and lots of other things to do.

Radisson in Kitchener

I always stay at the Radisson in Kitchener, excellent accommodations, for a price of US$45.00, including taxes. I get this price through Priceline. The only drawback is; you pay upfront; and there is no refund, in case you change your mind. Just make sure you are going.

The Parkview Motel on Wyndham St. I've used it before. No questions. Clean, cheap, and quiet.

I have used this one in the past paid somewhere between $65 and $80 (sorry this is as close as I can tell you - I always had had a few - ok lots to drink - beforehand when I went there ) they are decent enough - clean - never had a privacy issue - (other than with lady in arm which was not my wife thank god- them saying welcome back) , and they will do a cash room paid upfront with a drivers license and $100 dollar deposit. They will check the room at check out to ensure it isn't trashed before the deposit is returned.

Note on repeat visits they give a discount (so long as you use the same ID )

Jacuzzi's available - but they aren't as big or nice as some other place's
