Jumping off....I felt sorry for Volkanovski yesterday. He shouldn't have taken that fight. In the post fight presser he was clearly dealing with emotional issues.
On the one hand it's a very bold move on China's part, on the other if they can impose themselves to any reasonable degree,
they will totally score a big win on the propaganda front, they will gain all the moral authority the U.S. will lose.
I said it on another post back, the U.S. will pay dearly for years, not militarily, but in other spheres of influence.

A world power getting involved in itself is enough to change sentiments, pause for reflection, and move toward a new direction. It may embolden other nations to begin voicing disapproval directly or indirectly.
The US will lose any moral high ground by doing nothing while a massacre takes place in front of the world.
Inaction may even spawn a slew of domestic terrorist acts.
The domestic and worldwide voices opposed to Israel's actions are already loud and will only grow louder. We've all seen the crowds.

Personally, I don't believe there are 'races' of humans.
Genetically we are all the same.
But many peoples self identify as cultural groups as 'races' and trying to deny them that self identification is sort of like what happened here with the indigenous. Not a path you really want to go down.
