Israel Enlists its Children in the War Effort

I hate it when they send 14 year old kids with guns to the front lines and battle the enemy one on one.

You mean these kids were scribbling a message on the rocket? And your point is? I guess the Isrealis have a bit of pent-up anger after decades of living in fear and terror from suicide bombs. Who can blame them.

Saw a very long list of all the suicide bombings that have occurred in Israel over the last few years, sad stuff. The list did not include all the regular bombings/rocket attacks. The kids there live in a different world where they as civilians are the primary target. It is easy to judge other people.
We are luck to live in Canada.
Sure that during WWI/II that the children here did similar things, fund raisers and stuff.

Which list can I start with? The list of Palestinian children in jail? The list of Palestinians tortured? The address of Palestinians homes/properties that have been taken through violence? The list of reporters killed while covering Palestinian suffering? The list of Israelis who have killed Palestinians but have never served a day in jail? The list of Palestinians who have died because medical treatment was denied because of Israeli blockades?
While you like to say "it is easy to judge", you apparently don't seem to think it's within your capabilities to judge equally without some prompting.

I've already responded to this picture, which has made it into a few posts in the last couple of weeks. While it's not nice, IMO the kids here are not being told that these missiles could be killing other kids, and their message is for Narallah and the others who are sending missiles at them daily.
Also show me ANY OTHER EXAMPLE OF ISRAEL USING CHILDREN IN THIS WAY.

Yep we take peace for granted.
I don't know about the quran but the bible has been changed more times than i change my underwear in month. (2) the overwhelming evidence that Israel's enemies do exactly what you accuse Israel of and in militarism; and
(3) the clarification of the background to the pictures you posted, which you don't haveto be a genius to figure out, you just have to not be totally ignorant(and thanks to northern tantra for the link)

Of course, what was the end result of that protest? The settlers were removed. The governmnet controlled the fanatics. No lives were lost (at least until Hamas, Islamic Jihad and the like used those abandoned settlements to launch rocket attacks.gryfin said:...

Israel does an ok job of keeping it's own house clean. Palestinian Authority and Lebanon can/do not.
I dont wanna piss on this thread but kids going to school in any of the U.S. big cities live with the same fears. its only the gangbangers and dope dealers they are worried about. I say we blow up the west and south side of Chicago because our goverment or police force cant control them. Not quite the same thing. As has been posted before, motive is a dividing factor. In "gangland" you will only be killed if you mess with them (rival, etc.) or by accident. Most gangs don't run around randomly killing their neighbours for the heck of it.
