I guess I don't get it. I have an Xbox and love it. Love Knights of the Old Republic, Fable, MechAssualt. But I never played Halo 1. With all the hype, I went out and bought Halo 2. It seems just like any other FPS. What am I missing?

Well pete, it all depaends on what kind of games you like. If you don't like FPS's to begin with, then Halo 2 will not impress you. From the list of games it sounds like your more a role playing, 3rd person kinda guy. Me, I like to kill maurading (sp) bands of aliens that want to invade Earth. So suit up, grab a weapon and kick some ASS!!! Yes i have the game.

Okay, I finished Halo 2. Or so I think.
The story sort of ends off abruptly. Now did I finish the game and will I have to wait for Halo 3 to come out to complete the story?

Or do I have play the game at a another level (I played it at normal) to complete the story? Or is there something else to it that I'm missing!?!?

I just don't want to play the whole game again unless I know that there an actual point!!

Halo 2 is the first First Person Shooter that I have played in a while. Its pretty good. The story is well written, they got some decent actors to do the voice overs and the gameplay itself is fun and action packed.

The mulitplayer is sort of disappointing. I was hoping that you could play with your buds against the computer like in 007. But the game does not provide "Bots" or artificial enemies.

Overall, I'd say its a great game and worth the buy but it definitly does not live up to the hype.

The multiplayer is disappointing? The original's success was based almost entirely on the multiplayer experience, and the sequel takes it to another level. The online play alone is enough to make you lose your job. You are probably the only person on the planet who thinks the multiplayer is disappointing. Halo IS multiplayer...no one cares about the single player part of the game.

I meant the multiplayer when you are not playing it "online".
