iTunes Canada

In a special "Apple Event" held yesterday in San Jose, Apple CEO Steve Jobs announced that the iTunes store is finally coming to Canada next month (Nov).

Not sure what their pricing model will be here, but I'm looking forward to picking up a few tracks here and there. Sometimes I don't really want an entire CD so it'll be nice to be able to legally pick the tracks I find interesting.

I was just at Apple canada today and managed to convince one of the gents to let me use one of their new photo ipods .......... between my music and picks of my kids i have found the ultimate way to lose friends i can show a slide show on it with music

How is the quality of the photos on the ipod screen, can you download images from a digital camera, any other insight on the unit, beyond what is on their website:

It appears you can download from any digital camera to the iPod without too much difficulty. Personally though I'm a little less interested in the iPod for photos. I am however interested in that 15h battery life.

On the other hand maybe I'm better off buying a 40GB iPod and snapping on a Belkin external battery pack ...
