All the above is true about this great musician. He will be greatly missed. Hope Jimmy gives Jeff a send off like he did for Stevie, Jeff really deserves it.

Too young.
RIP.
Dammit. One of my friends had him in his Dead Pool this year.

Yes, great loss of talent and unexpected. The music industry lost one of the best underappreciated talents around.

This is so sad. Jeff was a true pro, with huge talent. Canada keeps losing it's best too young. Even at his young age he was a true Gentleman. Thankfully his memory will live on in his music.

I was at the Rolling Stones rehearsal show for Voodoo lounge in 1994, and Jeff was the opening act. I thought the best song of the night was when he played a cover version of George Harrison's "While my guitar gently weeps"

An appropriate song tonight.

A talented musician with a wonderful sense of humour.

I always enjoyed when he was interviewed. He had an exceptionally quick wit. And he could PLAY SOME SMOKING GUITAR.

RIP Jeff.

Met him at a Timmys in London. I was there with a friend and seen him in line and mumbled under my breath "The Double Douche". (Line from the movie Roadhouse that he was in)

Well, he heard me (not surprisingly) and got a laugh out of it. Really great down-to-earth guy. What a shame.
