Jon of Jon and Kate plus 8 is gone. Apparently, he will star in his own reality show with 3 or 4 other losers. The interviewer asked why he would humiliate himself like that and he said his only other option is to work at a Wal-Mart.

Do any of you actually watch these shows? Does the trials and tribulations of Jon or Kate actually affect your life?

Nobody in my social circle will ever admit to watching this show. I have never actually watched the show but it is impossible to avoid knowing about them if you have a radio, a TV or see a scandal rag at a checkout counter.

I remember reading a quote from Letterman or Conan, or one of those guys, that when the couple split, TLC had two new reality shows, "Jon plus 4" and "Kate plus 4". Thought that was amusing. The show itself, not so much. Today's famehounds scare me...

Actually, I heard on the radio this morning that Jon is starring in his own reality show with 3-4 other losers. I think Kevin Federline is one of the other losers. I don't actually watch these shows but am curious as to what manner of people do. Would make for an interesting social study.
