I think it's fairly obvious that the Raptors are struggling because Jamaal Magloire isn't on the bench giving death stares to the opponents.

Bring back the Big Cat!

Ed Davis puts in a better rounded game tonight than Bargs ever did... Too bad Casey played Bargs over Ed even when he was shooting 2 for 19...
Hopefully if he ever plays for the Raptors again, Bargs is moved to a bench role and used only when hot.. That is all he is good for.
Time to give Ross more minutes too, he plays D, there is no D in Demar outside of his name..

You are right on regarding Davis. If he continues with that effort no doubt who the starter is. He actually rebounds and plays down low. What a concept for a BIG!

Beg to differ on Ross. His shot selection is as bad as Bargs. I don't see him as a strong defensive player either, it may come in time but at the moment he is just another weak link on a weak team.

I believe that when this team gets some players back they will start to come together as a unit without Bargnani. I really get the feeling he is not a popular team mate. With him out of the mix things should improve.

Like I said even before the season started...looking at the Raptors line-up...they have the potential...to suck! Thank God they didn't let me down on this. If you have Demar as your starplayer right now...there's only positive from here-on.

It took Ed Davis 13 shots to get his points which would usually take Bargs 20 + shots to get that amount . Also 12 boards is a week total for Bargs which Ed got in one night

Its funny hearing Bargnani beat up on Bargs.

Ed Davis is pretty interesting to watch develop. Would love to see this kid get better and succeed in this league, and on our team. Anyone think of someone great that he compares to?? He's quick in the air. A little awkward at the same time.

Finally a blowout!

No Bargs, no problem, team has more heart and hustle without him.

I still believe Lowry can be a good piece though, he just needs to stop trying to do it all himself.

Gotta trade Bargs though, it's time to move on.

I don't see where Bargs is relevant here. They play like a team when he is off injured.

Bargs is reported to have said in an interview to an Italian paper that the Raptorrs are the worst team in the NBA.
That is a pretty stupid thing for a player that is considered by some as the "star" to make.It sure slams himself, his team mates
and the management as well as the franchise. This should have Coangelo checking opponents rosters. IF Bargnani recovers begore
year end, he should be a reserve when he returns and be on the trading block.

Break out the bubbly! Two-game win streak!

Jose has to be starting when Lowry comes back, no? 18-14-10 triple double?

Lowry better not sulk about coming off the bench, and if he does, don't play him.

Do they keep Jose around in case the Lowry experiment fails and they end up with both PG's gone next summer?

Jose at his age may want to move on . His expiring contract and great play may fetch a couple of good assets

It certainly is looking like a Bargnani trade is inevitable. IF the Raps win a few more games without him, its gonna be hard to keep Bargs.

I say gamble on Lowry and deal Calderon..... he's been one of the better Raps but with his age and stock he can help the team better in the long run as a trade asset/

Calderon is always involved in PG controversies. First it was between him and TJ Ford, Jose won that battle. Then it was between Jose and Jarrett Jack, Jose won that battle again. Now it's between Jose and Lowry, let's see if he can pull off the trifecta.

Kyle Lowry lost his starting gig last year and didn't take it well . Goran Dragic won the starting job while Kyle was hurt ( which he seems to be injuried alot ) .

The Raptors just won 2 games in a row against solid .500 teams, Dallas and Houston, all without Bargnani and Lowry. What does that say? Lowry is injury prone and looks so out of shape, it looks like he's sweating cheeseburgers out there, and Bargnani is the laziest, most unemotional and indifferent player in the history of the NBA. Trade Bargnani and Lowry, and keep Calderon, DeRozan, Ross, Davis, Anderson, the players that actually give them a spark and contribute. With Bargnani and Lowry they can fetch some huge assets in return, the time to trade them is now.

Not sure how much to read into those 2 victories. After all they were home games which teams are often expected to win.

They had also been desparately unlucky in some games where a last second shot could have won them the game, or where officials ignored fouls.

Does seem though that they might be better off without some of them.

I'm pretty much with you. Lowry should bring something Bargnani not so much. Calderon has earned the starting spot, if Lowry can't handle that "See Ya".
I am not a Ross fan. He should NOT be on the floor near the end of a close game. He missed a 3 he should never have taken, a lay up, and two free throws in the dying minutes before Casey finally pulled him. He isn't ready for NBA pressure yet. Let him have his minutes in the middle of the game, even then his shot selection is suspect.

Raps finally win 2 in a row. Lets see if they can keep the streak going. Cleveland in Cleveland next, certainly winnable.

I'm a Ross fan for now, but I agree we don't want to lose games in the 4th quarter cause of rookie mistakes. It's up to the coach however to give him his chances here and there.
