Well I have been traded to the Knicks ... I might have to say bye and sign up too NYERB ... I read though that my friend Rudy Gay was going to going to sign up to TERB but he maybe headed to Detroit for Rodney Stuckey and Charlie V

if the deal goes through,it will because the raps and Masai want to throw away the season for a shot at Andrew Wiggins...or Jabari Parker

Also Charlie V and Stuckey are expiring contracts . This GM's hands are tied cause they are capped out for the next two years unless they do something

If teh trade with the Knicks goes through I think the Raps come out looking pretty good the key pieces being draft picks and Novak (a genuine 3pt shooter).

Best case scenario..... tank the season draft whomever is available (I hear there's more than just wiggins and parker but those are the two forerunners). Then they should also have some good cap space to sign a free agent to complement Val, the draft pick...... who knows if Gay, Derozan, Lowry will be around.

The front runners for lottery next year will be Bobcats ( like always ) , Bucks and Hawks ....

I think that's exactly what there trying to do. There are no expectations of Masai being his first year. Might as well take a huge hit year 1, and go for it. If I were him I'd be doing everything possible to free cap space, and tank the season for a high draft pick. So they loose a little money in low ticket sales, it won't be that much as people are always going to go to the games. They also have so many corperations that hold seasons tickets that don't give a shit if they win or loose. They also ride on the shoulder of the leafs cause you can't get the private box's for just one team. So the people/companies that buy the private box's end up paying for the raptor box's too. It might look a little empty, but the financial hit won't be as bad as it seems.

Whoa Buddy ...you aren't paying attention!

Raps sign back up PG Julyan Stone. Stone appeared in FOUR(4) games for the Nuggets last year.
This undrafted UTEP alum is going to compete for the back up position behind Kyle Lowry( unless of course Lowry get traded)Looking at the current roster he may not have a lot of competition. .......and you say nothing to look forward to:frusty:

Agreed. With their current lineup this Raptor team might finish in 11th spot in a weak Eastern Conference, if that's not something to look forward to I don't know what is.

DeMar DeRozan, Aaron Gray, Rudy Gay, Kyle Lowry and Amir Johnson are in Vagas working out with the rookies .. They really don't have to be there but it must say something that they are there .

Ross and Acy and Jonas will be playing in summer league
I hope that Stone is there too. maybe the only chance he will get to play.

So far he made what most people consider a good trade to get rid of Bargs and then he adds Stone and Tyler.
Tyler adds toughness little else, but Stone keeps the payroll under the cap?

Dwight Buycks has reached agreement on a multi-year contract with the Toronto Raptors, a source told RealGM.

The Portland Trail Blazers, Oklahoma City Thunder and Miami Heat had pursued Buycks as a potential third-string point guard, but he ultimately couldn’t pass up the opportunity to back up Kyle Lowry on the Raptors. For the Raptors, Buycks’ defense and playmaking served as enticing factors to give him a chance.

Buycks has starred for the Thunder’s summer league team this month, ranking third in assists per game, and he will travel for his physical exam with the Raptors over the weekend.

Buycks, 24, averaged 15 points and 2.6 assists in the NBA D-League last season.

The Oklahoman first reported that Buycks had agreed to be the Raptors’ backup point guard.

I hope they actually sign someone that can help. So far the best thing he's done is get rid of a player.
If I was a season ticket holder, at this point I would be pissed!

Would trade Rudy Gay & Kyle Lowry, Knicks 1st Rounder, 2nd Rounder to the Pistons for Charlie V, Rodney Stuckey, Andre Drummond & 1st Rounder.

I would buy out Charlie V & Rodney Stuckey & tank.

Also try my best to acquire Tony Wroten as he looks like the ideal point guard to build around. Also the former college teammate of the Raptor's Terrence Ross. IMHO trade everybody this season for future assets except for Jonas, Amir, Acy & TRoss. Ofcourse the Raptors will disappoint us again and not finish in last place!
