Colangelo correcting his bad moves usually has involved sacrificing a first round pick and taking back questionable talent.. Bargs has now negative trade value as his contract is too big to take on a guy who is just not willing to do what it takes to win.
I will criticize the GM by saying they just threw away Baylsis in the summer and now they will be trading a draft pic for PG help ..

"Look at Bucks who waited till 7th year until they realized that Bogut isn't a franchise player ."

Bogut looked good against the Raptors a few weeks ago. So he was banished from Milwakiee and exiled to California - justice has been served.

Golden State is a dark horse come playoff time.

This years Gloden State sucess remarkly has nothing to do with Bogut which is a good thing cause he can't stay healthy and really that is why Bucks got rid of him .

Now that Bargs is here to stay (for the season), we should give him some slack - may lead to better production. He has become tentative about shooting.

or he should get off his lazy ass and start practicing and working out. His work ethic sucks!

These recently close fought games were the type that they were losing regularly at the beginning of the season.:hippie:

I can't believe it, but playoffs are a real possibility now! 4 games out if Milwaukee loses tonight to Atlanta.

Even if they don't make it, there is definitely a good thing going right now.

I am loving every second of what I see from Jonas at the moment. He is not backing down from anyone and he's all over the glass. Held his own against Tyson Chandler the other night, and he still has so much room to grow, I can't wait.

Rudy has been statistically not great, but he makes the big buckets and he gives everyone else confidence, and the 7-3 record against good teams doesn't lie when it comes to his impact.

About Bargnani, I can't support the booing, even if he is terrible at the moment. Come on, it's negative energy and it doesn't help the team one freaking bit. Everyone needs to be on the same page, including the crowd, but I guess there are too many idiot fans who are too short-sighted to realize this. I remember last game, Lucas or somebody dumped the ball off to him with like half a second on the shot clock and he had to force up an impossible shot and missed and was still booed. Idiot fans should boo Lucas for that, it was his fault.

Look, we all know Bargnani has been a disappointment, but he's just a role player now. If he plays badly, it doesn't hurt the team because he'll be pulled quickly and if he plays well, great. I wish the fans would just concentrate that negative energy they invest in booing Bargnani and just cheer the team, I mean come on.

I just don't get why if the Raps are winning, the fans still need something to boo about, it's like some disease that they can't enjoy the success.

Hell, even Kyle Lowry is telling everyone to STFU:

Although I love the fact the Raptors still have a playoff chance , it still shows how bad the East keeps on being . The Raptors at this stage of the season with a record of 10 games below 500 should not be in a playoff hunt .

I agree. Why piss one of your players off? No question he has been and is a disappointment, but we are stuck with him so encourage him.
I like the way Casey is using him, perform and you get minutes, suck and you get pine.

The fans own the Raptors. The fans will be here 10, 20, 30, 40 , 50 years...
And the fans must live with the damage inflicted by shysters like Colangelo.

And carpetbaggers like Lowry...
Who are passing thru for 18 months...
Before they sign a lucrative deal with a US team...
Are the ones who should STFU and just play.

Lowry never tweeted "STFU". He said this:
"I love our fans to death , but booing one of our players isn't cool and it should NOT be done!! Hopefully next game it won't happen!!"

Nothing wrong with that??

My problem is not with Lowry...
His tweet has been worked over by the Distortion Field that is RealGM, etc...

Coach Casey said it best today,

“He [Andrea] can control the crowd [with] his play, his approach, his body language, the way he attacks things, how aggressive he is,” Raptors coach Dwane Casey said. “At the end of the day, it’s up to that player, whoever it is … to do something about it. You hush the crowd up, whether it’s at home or the road, [with] your play.

“I do know one thing about Toronto fans: They love hard play, they love physical play, they love aggressive play, they love passion.”

On the other hand...
Maybe Bryan can fly in Andrea's mom to sit on the bench tonight...
And coddle her special Bambino with the off-the-charts Caliper Test.

Or maybe only the Cosa Nostra can put an end to this embarrassment...
Perhaps Ryan Gosling is available for 5 minutes to drive after the hit.

You must be one of the booers. Way to help the team, man, nothing gets the Raptors fired up and playing well like hearing the people who are supposed to support them boo their teammate.

Like it or not, the Raps are stuck with Bargnani for the rest of the year, deal with it. They're playing really well right now, why add any negativity? What does it accomplish?
