Yeah I saw that.

I am increasingly prone to getting weepy.

Yeah, weepy.

When I see people being nice to people, as I get older, it triggers me, in a good way.

I don't know what show it was on, but numerous times I saw this guy, well, LOVE people. He tried to bring out the good in them.

A life well -lived.

When I was living in Rhode Island many years ago, I was in court for some pretty serious traffic tickets that were issued (most not my fault), and he was the judge.

The guy was 100% exactly how you saw on tv. So kind, respectful, and with a great sense of humor.

I remember him asking where I was going to in such a rush, and when I told him “the casino”, he joked, “Did you win or leave empty handed?”

He ended up dismissing all but the speeding ticket.

Such genuine kindness, especially from those in power to those without, is rare nowadays.

RIP, many will remember him for the compassion and kindness he showed them.

At a SP near me
Watched a few episodes of his show. Such a good natured man who tried to understand the motivation behind those ticketed as opposed to just throwing the book at them. Wish others in positions of power would exercise similar leeway

May he rest in peace.
