Apparently your not paying attention. There a number of members who don't hobby. They just keep it really low key instead of bragging about it like hormone driven teen wannabe. There are also quite a few members who have trouble getting any or at least anything satisfactory, but you knew that.There is no confession... just evidence!

Apparently the review sections is doing quite well despite your fears of TERBs demise. The review Forums have over a 100,000 active reviews and certainly do not appear to be suffering from a lack of reviews. It's clear there are other contributors who don't worry about tiny things like you appear to be. a far as the relevancy of threads; the General Forums are just that, about general subjects, over 80,000 of them.
While I agree some bikes exhaust noise is to the extreme (and for that matter some cars), a quiet bike on the road is a deathtrap. Too many drivers drive as if they were wearing blinders and have zero awareness of those driving around them. A bike that is making noise is noticed.
I used to own a bike that was almost as quiet as a bicycle and the amount and degree of close calls nearly made me quit riding. Their excuse each time for the close call was simply "I didn't know you were there". Since that bike, I always ride a bike that is loud or change the exhaust so it will be loud. I don't have the same problem anymore. If you've ever ridden a bike you'd also know.
